RADWIMPS、シングル「サイハテアイニ / 洗脳」JK写で描かれる天使と悪魔が示すものとは？

5月10日（水）にリリースされるRADWIMPSのニューシングル「サイハテアイニ / 洗脳」のジャケットビジュアルが公開となった。

今回のシングルタイトル曲である「サイハテアイニ」と「洗脳」の2曲それぞれが相反するコントラストを持った楽曲であるところから着想を得て、ビジュアル面でもその二面性をテーマに制作が進められた。

通常盤は「サイハテアイニ」をイメージした“天使”、そして初回限定盤は「洗脳」をイメージした“悪魔”のビジュアルに。二役を同じ1人の少年が演じることにより、人間が持つ二面性を鮮烈に表現し、苦悩する天使と、それをまるで嘲笑うかのような悪魔は、別々の空間でお互いに影響しあい、片方だけでは成立しえない存在として描かれている。また、同時に公開されたRADWIMPSの最新アーティスト写真も、今作のアートワークの世界観と連動して撮影が行なわれた。

シングル「サイハテアイニ / 洗脳」は、新曲2曲と既発曲「棒人間」のニューバージョンを含む計3曲。最新アルバム『人間開花』に収録されている「棒人間」は、4月からスタートする日本テレビ系ドラマ『フランケンシュタインの恋』の主題歌に大抜擢され話題に。また、初回限定盤にはその「棒人間」の絵本が付属されるとの事だ。
