RADWIMPS、全国の18歳世代と造るフェス『18祭』の参加者募集スタート

RADWIMPSが9月に開催する、1,000人の全国の18歳世代と一緒に1回限りのステージを作り上げる『RADWIMPS18祭（フェス）』の参加者募集が、4月12日（木）よりスタート！　このイベントでは、日本全国の18歳世代（17～19歳）からさまざまな熱い想いがこめられた動画を募集し、RADWIMPSがその想いを受けて楽曲を制作。共演当日、動画事前選考を通過した1,000人の18歳世代との1回限りの奇跡のステージを目指す。なお、この様子は後日、NHK総合テレビで放送予定とのこと（日時未定）。

このステージに向けて、野田洋次郎は“今も僕の中に18歳の自分がいる。迷った時、せっぱ詰まった時、いつだってそいつと話をする。まっすぐに僕を見てくる。そいつにだけは見くびられたくなくて、呆れられたくなくて、必死になる。今でも一番「かっこいいじゃん」って思われたいのはあの時の自分なのかもしれない。今18歳のあなたの心と言葉が、あなたの一生の道しるべだ。今あなたと一緒に曲を作りたい”とコメントしている。

また、RADWIMPSは6月6日（水）にニューシングルをリリースすることを発表。ニューシングルの完全生産限定盤は、世界初の“汗ジャケ”仕様＆RADWIMPSとしては初のグッズ付きCD。グッズは、RADWIMPSオリジナルバンダナが付属されるので、こちらもぜひチェックしてほしい。さらに同月にライブツアーの開催も発表している。RADWIMPS初上陸となる三重県での公演からスタートし、1ヶ月間という短期間の中でアリーナ会場6箇所11公演をめぐる濃密なツアーとなる。商品、ライブスケジュールの詳細はオフィシャルHPをチェック！
