有村竜太朗ソロプロジェクト映像集、受注生産限定盤の受付け締め切りを前に全概要が明らかに

メジャーデビュー20周年を迎えたPlastic Treeのヴォーカル有村竜太朗が、「夢を見ているような、現実感がない」と表現したソロプロジェクトの集大成として2017年1月に行なわれたTour2017『デも/demo』。その様子を収めた映像作品『有村竜太朗 個人作品集1996-2013「デも/demo」-実験上演記録フィルム-』の受注生産限定盤の受付け締め切りが、いよいよ今月30日に迫り全概要が発表された。

楽曲だけにとどまらない彼の想い描いた夢の断片を具現化させた“醒めて見る夢”の舞台は、「受注生産限定盤」「通常盤」の2typeの映像作品として発表される。まず受注生産限定盤だが、スキャニメーションという静止画像の上でスリットシートをスライドさせることで、まるで動いているように見える錯視効果を利用したデザインの特殊パッケージにくわえ、本人が制作過程で実際に使用していたノートをもとに再現した「実験記録ノート」と名付けられたブックレットを付属。しかも、そのノートの表紙にはタイトルを本人が一枚一枚手書きしたステッカーを貼付。さらに、リモコンで特定のコマンドを入力することでしか見ることのできない秘密の特典映像を収録した、まさに"実験的"試みが随所にちりばめられた永久保存盤といえる内容だ。

もちろん通常盤にも有村らしい独特な仕掛けがあり、DVDディスクにはフェナキスティスコープの原理が用いられ、鏡に映して回転させスリットから覗くと、残像現象により絵柄が動いて見えるようデザインされている。実際にディスクを使って工作することで能動的に楽しむことができ、受動的に映像を見るだけにとどまらない参加型の仕様となっており、受注生産限定盤同様に"実験的"要素が盛り込まれている。

また、特典映像として品川公演の舞台裏やインタビューを収録。凛とした空気が漂うリハーサルの様子や楽屋での柔らかな表情、アルバム制作からツアーまでの「デも/demo」プロジェクトを振り返ったインタビューは必見だ。
