the peggiesの北澤ゆうほ、映画『脱脱脱脱17』舞台挨拶で弾き語り披露

the peggiesのフロントマン北澤ゆうほが各界で注目の俊英・松本花奈監督と撮り上げた異色にして出色の青春ロードムービー『脱脱脱脱17』がユーロスペースにて9月2日から限定レイトショー公開されているが、9月10日の上映後に松本監督と主要キャストが登壇するトークショーが行なわれた。

同映画は松本花奈が当時17歳という若さで、脚本、編集、監督と全霊を込めて製作され、ゆうばり国際ファンタスティック映画祭等で上映され絶賛された作品。あの岩井俊二からも“事件だ"と称賛され、公開が待たれていた。その主演をthe peggiesのボーカル＆ギターの北澤ゆうほが務めていることでも注目されている。

上映後のトークショーには、松本監督とリカコを演じた北澤ゆうほ、高校生活17年目のノブオを演じた鈴木理学、リカコの母親役を演じた三坂知絵子の4人が登壇すると、立ち見が出るほどの満員の劇場が大きな拍手で迎えられた。

本作はthe peggiesの楽曲が5曲使用されており、それがとても印象的に使われ、映画に彩りを与えている。その音楽について松本監督からこの映画のため、北澤につくってもらった曲が2曲あると説明があると、映画の重要なシーンであるストリップ劇場でリカコが唄う楽曲について北澤が「もともとは違う曲だったんですが、“花奈ちゃんのイメージするものと違うかもしれないから、こういう曲つくりませんか"という話をいただいて、なるほどと思い、歌詞から作りました。」と北澤自身もこの映画へアーティストとしても全力でかかわっていたエピソードを語った。

そして、アコースティックギターを抱えた北澤をステージに残し、監督、キャストは客席側へ。本作の主題歌となっている『青春なんかに泣かされて』を弾き語りで披露。松本監督が北澤に出演交渉の際に見せた映画のプロットのタイトルだったものに、インスパイアを受けてかいた楽曲。青春時代に感じる何者でもない自分をそっと肯定してくれるような優しさが心に刺さってくるようなパフォーマンスに会場も魅了された。

北澤ゆうほの弾き語りが終了し、最後の挨拶で、松本監督は「この映画をつくってたくさんの出会いがあって、自分の人生にとっても宝物だなと思っています。」と作品への愛を感じる言葉で締めくくると、北澤は「はじめてのことを体験しているわたしがずっと映っている映画なんですけど、とにかくこの映画の撮影を通して、120％でやらないと伝わらないし、意味のないことだとすごく勉強になりました。それはthe peggiesのライブの見せ方やミュージックビデオでの表情の作り方へ影響を与えてくれて、とてもいい経験だったと思ってます。演技もそうですが、これからもいろいろなことに挑戦したいと思います。」と映画を通して様々な刺激を受けたことを語っていた。
