石崎ひゅーい、新曲「ピリオド」MVに菅田将暉が出演

3月28日（水）にリリースとなった石崎ひゅーい初のベストアルバム『Huwie Best』に収録される新曲「ピリオド」のMVに、俳優の菅田将暉が出演していることが分かった。菅田は、かつてより石崎ひゅーいの音楽を聴いており、2016年5月に石崎ひゅーい2ndアルバム『花瓶の花』発売時の音楽雑誌での対談をきっかけに意気投合。今回のMVでは、切ない春の別れを歌った「ピリオド」の世界観の中で失恋した男を演じ、その痛みを表現して号泣する熱演を見せた。

菅田将暉が3月21日（水）にリリースしたのデビューアルバム『PLAY』では、「さよならエレジー」「いいんだよ、きっと」「台詞」の3曲を石崎ひゅーいが提供するなど、公私ともに仲のよい二人の共演。石崎はコメントで“こんなに早く念願がかなうとは。”と共演の喜びを語っている。

菅田将暉くんとは昨年の夏くらいから公私共に仲良くさせて頂いていて、音楽を作ったりスキヤキを作って食べたりしていました。
いつか映像なんかも一緒に作れたらなあと思っていましたがこんなに早く念願が叶うとは。
俳優'菅田将暉"の演技、やはり圧巻でした。
二人で撮影しながら『俺たちなんでこんなボロボロなんだろうね？』って言いながら雨に打たれました。
これは恋の終わりの歌です。女々しい男の心情を綴りました。
これから出会いや別れが多い季節『春』がやってくるわけですが、どうかこの歌が皆様の心の支えになりますように。
