GLIM SPANKY、「愚か者たち」がAbemaTV『格闘代理戦争2ndシーズン』主題歌に決定

GLIM SPANKYの「愚か者たち」が、AbemaTVにて4月29日（日）夜11時から放送スタートする新レギュラー番組『格闘代理戦争2ndシーズン』の主題歌に決定したことがわかった。

主題歌の「愚か者たち」は2018年1月にリリースし、映画『不能犯』の主題歌にもなっている。人間の生々しさが渦巻く“二面性”と、そこから生まれる“選択”をテーマにした楽曲だ。歌詞の中での“二面性”や、《右か左か　選びな》と鋭く選択を迫ってくる姿は、プロ格闘家という夢を抱きながら己の獣性を抱きかかえて戦う、ファイターの“原石たち”の姿そのもの。松尾レミの情熱、諦念、希望などの陰と陽がひしめき合う歌声と楽曲の持つ心象風景が、番組の主役である“原石たち”のありようが重なり合い、今回の主題歌起用に至っている。

『格闘代理戦争』は、“格闘界に次世代スターを送り込む”をテーマに掲げる格闘ドキュメンタリー番組で、1stシーズンではK-1を舞台に格闘ファンの圧倒的な支持と共感を得ている。『格闘代理戦争2ndシーズン』は、MMA（＝総合格闘技）を舞台として格闘技界のレジェンドたちが続々参加し、新たな代理戦争が勃発。優勝した推薦選手には、AbemaTVから賞金300万円、そしてアジア最強の格闘技団体“One Championship”と最高1,000万円の契約（5試合契約／試合前に100万円、さらに試合に勝利したら100万円）が保障されることが決定している。熱き『格闘代理戦争』は、熱きロック魂と共に全国に響き渡るに違いない。
