演歌歌手がアラバキロックフェスに初参戦 神野美伽が2000人のロックファンを沸かせる

ニューヨーク老舗ジャズクラブでの演歌ライブやアメリカロックフェスへの出演、グラミーアーティスト、マンハッタントランスファーのジャニス・シーゲルとの楽曲制作など縦横無尽な活躍を続ける今注目の演歌歌手神野美加（52）がまた一つ新たな足跡を残した。

4月28日、29日の二日間宮城県で開催される東北最大のロックフェス、「ARABAKI ROCK FEST’18」に、演歌歌手として初めて参戦。衝撃のステージを繰り広げた。
初日となる２８日には突き抜けるような快晴の中2万8千人の集客を記録。出演者には布袋寅泰、The Birthday、浅井健一＆THE INTERCHANGE KILLS、MAN WITH A MISSION、ストレイテナー、The HIATUSなど国内有名アーティストが名を連ねる中、「神野美伽with古市コータロー+クハラカズユキfeat.山本健太（Piano）青木ケイタ（Sax）」名義で登場。（翌29日にはASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION、エレファントカシマシ、くるり、ゲスの極み乙女。、サンボマスター、THE BACK HORN、BRAHMAN、BUCK TICK、怒髪天、人間椅子、BUCK TICK、BRAHMANなどが出演）

THE COLLECTORSのギタリスト古市コータローとThe Birthdayのドラマークハラカズユキとは２年前からユニットを結成し、演歌のフィールドを飛び出した活動を繰り広げ注目を集めてきた。今回はそのメンバーに、keyboard山本健太、sax青木ケイタを加えた荒吐特別編成で登場となった。
ステージ前には『神野美伽を知らない』、そして『演歌を聴いた事が無い』ロック好きのオーディエンス約２０００人が詰めかける中、♯1．りんご追分（美空ひばり）をグルーブ感溢れるアレンジで歌い上げると、会場の空気が一変。大きな拍手と歓声が沸き起こった。
それに対し神野美伽は「皆さんこんにちは！ようこそお越しくださいました！最後まで楽しんでいって下さい！」と挨拶。オーディエンスの期待が一気に上昇する中、続く♯2．座頭市子守唄（勝新太郎）ではクハラカズユキのエッジの効いたドラムと古市コータローの激しいギターアレンジ、そして神野美伽のパワフルな歌声がマッチし会場はいきなり最高潮の盛り上がりを見せた。
その後♯3．石狩挽歌（北原ミレイ）、♯4．切手のないおくりもの（ペギー葉山）、♯5．恋の季節（ピンキーとキラーズ）、♯6．あなたのブルース（矢吹健）、♯7．あんたの大阪（オリジナル）の合計7曲を歌唱。来場客からは「演歌やばい！」「神野さんカッコいい！」などの声が飛び。終演後観客の一人は、「神野さんのことは初めて見ましたが演歌の概念が変わりました。本当にかっこよかった。今度から親が聴く演歌を一緒に聴けそうです！」と興奮気味に感想を話した。

神野美伽は「野外でのステージはやはり格別。演歌を知らないお客さんばかりだったと思いますが、バンドの皆の力も借りて演歌の魅力を伝えることができたと思います。お客さんと繋がる瞬間を感じることができた。これまで色々なアウェーなフィールドで歌ってきましたが、この瞬間がたたまらない。今後ももっと多くの方に演歌の魅力を届けたい」と野望を語った。

5月18日には35周年公演を東京・中野サンプラザで開催。その他名古屋ブルーノートでの公演や福島県で開催される「オハラブレイク」にも出演が決まっており、演歌界の異種格闘技選手と評される神野美伽の活躍から目が離せない。
