ゆず、新アー写公開＆新曲「公園通り」配信決定

ゆずが5月29日（火）にiTunes Store、レコチョクほか各サイトにて、新曲「公園通り」を配信リリース決定！　さらに、新アーティスト写真および配信ジャケット写真も公開された。同曲は、5月23日（水）よりテレビオンエアされる女優・有村架純出演の伊藤園『お～いお茶』のCM ソングに決定している。楽曲タイトルの由来は、東京・渋谷の商業施設『MODI』から代々木公園に通じる道、渋谷公園通り。かつてその公園通りに面した場所にあった劇場・渋谷公園通り劇場で、今から20年前の1998年、ゆずは路上ライブから一歩踏み出し、初めて有料ワンマンライブを行った。あの頃の自分たちを思い返しながら、また未来に向けて歩んでいく、叙情的ナンバーとなっている。

配信ジャケット写真には、過去に『ゆず一家』『ゆずマンの夏』など、CDジャケットビジュアルに多く登場し、デビュー当時からのゆずのマスコットキャラクターである、北川悠仁が自筆で生み出した“ゆずマン”が登場。初回公演だった1998年3月3日の公園通り劇場ライブで、ゆずマンを用いた演出を行ったこと、その前月に2ndミニアルバム『ゆずマン』をリリースしたことなど、当時の記憶にゆずマンが強く紐付いていることから実現となった。さらに、新キャラクターであるゆずネコ・あくびちゃんも初お目見え！　アルバム『ゆずマン』のジャケット写真をオマージュし、公園通りにいるゆずマンを優しく見守るゆずのふたりが表現されている。
