umbrella、初のフルアルバム発売直前、リード曲のMVフル公開

関西を拠点に勢力的に活動する4人組バンドumbrella、5月30日に発売となる初のフルアルバム「ダーウィン」一曲目に収録されている「anima」のMV フルバージョンが公開された。

既にSPOTが公開されておりそのフルバージョンの完成が待たれていた今回のMV は、光と緑の混ざり合う空間でのメンバーの演奏シーンと、少女を囲む真っ白な空間との描写が繰り返されることでストーリーが作られている。
合わせてアルバムの全曲試聴動画も公開された。

なお「ダーウィン」リリースに伴いバンド結成9年目にして初となる全国ワンマンツアーが、来週6月4日(月)の新宿ロフトよりスタートとなるので各地の会場に足を運んでアルバムの全貌を生で体感して欲しい。

ダーウィンからMVになった「anima」
楽曲的にはumbrellaの中でも挑戦的な曲だと思います。
前作「管」のMV監督にお願いし、前作の持つ妖艶な世界観にバンド演奏を盛り込んでもらいました。
最初に挑戦的な楽曲だといいましたが構成自体はとてもシンプルなので、映像のエフェクトと共に各々が様々な解釈が出来るMVだと思っています。
自分なりの楽しみポイントを見つけて下さいね。
