AURA 、30周年となる2019年12月1日に新譜フルアルバム「FANTASIA」を発売

1989年12月1日にメジャーデビューした AURA が、30周年となる2019年12月1日に新譜フルアルバム「FANTASIA」を発売した。
2013年にギターのPIEが闘病の末に死去後、”Judy And Mary”、”DTR”等で活躍していた、藤本泰司(現:†яi￠к)をサポートギターに迎えた。
「過去に拘らず、今の５人から発する音を込めよう！１曲１曲が全てシングルの様な、FANTASYが詰まったアルバム」というVo REDS☆のコンセプトのもと、ジャンルに捉われないNEWアルバムが完成した。
書き下ろしの新曲を含む全10曲を収録。
オリジナルメンバー、リーダーの故PIEの未発表曲も２曲収録している。色褪せないPIEのフレーズに、REDS☆が歌詞を載せ、時を超えた共作が実現している。

信じる力をテーマに書いた8曲目「杜の都」はベガルタ仙台サポーターとの交流にて産まれた楽曲である。
『ﾊﾟｰﾌﾟﾙpeople』『Be one』は故 龍巻のピー が遺した曲に、ボーカル REDS☆が歌詞を付け完成した壮大な楽曲である。
「デビュー30周年という節目の年に、記念アルバム「FANTASIA」をリリースできたことは、本当に嬉しいですし、ずっと応援をしてくれているファンにとっても、とても大切な作品になったと思います。このアルバムを新たな出発点として、AURA　WORLDを築いていきたいと思います。これからも応援よろしく。」とベーシストのMARBLEは語る。
また、MARBLEが有志と立ち上げた東京都狛江市のコミュニティＦＭ「コマラジ 」では、『Rockin'Talk Show』（木曜21時）『AURAと元気な仲間たち』（金曜日20時）の二つの番組を11月から始めている。最後の来日公演を終えたKISSのポールスタンレーが「FANTASIA」のCDを持った写真がREDS☆のSNSを飾った
