　夏がくるたびに蘇る、心の底から愛し合った人との想い出。主人公は、あの夏の二人の約束を今も抱きしめて一人東京で夢を追いかけている。山川陽彩の包容力あるハスキーヴォイスが“君のこと想うたび　若さが傷むよ　サヨナラと夢の階段　急ぎ過ぎたのか？”と歌う「あの夏の約束」。誰もが自分の中の想い出をそっと呼覚まし、切なさに心震わす珠玉のナンバー。作詞：池永康記＆作曲：樫原伸彦による書下ろし。池永＆樫原コンビは、アサヒスーパードライCMの世良公則「鼓動」柳ジョージ「バーニング」そして機動武闘伝GガンダムED井上武英「君の中の永遠」等をヒットさせた黄金コンビ。山川陽彩のオンリーワンの声に惚れて、楽曲提供＆プロデュースを手掛けた。アコースティックギターは、長渕剛の盟友と言われるレジェンドギタリスト笛吹利明が参加。世代を超えて誰もが共感し、カラオケで歌いたくなるような、まさにNeo歌謡曲の名にふさわしい王道のナンバーに仕上がっている。

この夏、初の舞台へ挑戦することも決定した。それが、「まんが王国」にて連載中の「死刑島」の舞台化作品。「ザ・シェフ」の原作者剣名舞の手による（脚本・監修）舞台『死刑島2021』。どんな芝居を見せてくれるのか？こちらも、楽しみだ。

山川陽彩は、昨年の春からライブ配信アプリPocochaで番組仕立ての“歌枠”配信をしている。コロナ禍でリアルな活動が制限された中、自己表現の場を配信に求めて、ほぼ毎日、試行錯誤を繰り返しながら配信を続けてきた。Pocochaで出会ったファンの方達とブレイクを目指している。最近は独自の配信スタイルも固まり「陽彩のラジアン・リミテッド」（アゲアゲDJ風）と「陽彩のオールナイト・セイヤング」（しっとり深夜ラジオ風）の地上波ばりの配信が好評。口コミでファンが増えている。
