山川陽彩がかけた歌の魔法が、心に閉まっていたいろんな想い出の景色を引き出していった。

NEO歌謡曲シンガーとして活動中の山川陽彩。ここへ至るまでにもツイキャスを用いてライブ配信を行ってきたが、ついに観客たちを目の前にしてのライブ活動もスタートさせた。記念すべき始まりの場となったのが、9月27日、新宿ROTTを舞台にしたRELENT Sounds vol.6 レコ発だよ全員集合！への出演。

　ライブは、『心配しないで僕ならここにいるよ、お道化たピエロになって君のために歌うよ』・・最近の山川陽彩の楽曲を多く手がけているアッキーこと清水彰範の手がけた「ピエロ」のサビから幕を開けた。冒頭から低音の効いた歌声を奮わせ、彼はマイクスタンドに置いたマイクを両手でギュッと強く握り、キリッとした表情で前を見据え歌っていた。とても大らかで温かいUKロックと歌謡メロが融合した楽曲だ。陽彩は、思いを届けたい大切な君へ向け、優しくエールを送るように歌う。とても声量ある歌声だ。でも、雄々しいのではない。大きな愛で包み込むような包容力を持っている。サビ歌で大きく手を振り歌う姿を見て、フロアにいた人たちが自然と手を振りだしていたのも、彼の歌声に心引き寄せられたから。曲が進むごと、その歌声にはおおらかさが増していた。

　「俺からのメッセージソング、心を込めて歌います」の言葉を受け、次に披露したのが「愛をください」。閉塞した殺伐とした今の時代だからこそ、この歌が、とても胸にジンと染みてきた。楽曲自体は20年近く前に清水彰範の手によって生まれ、K-POPスターのパク・ジョンミンなど多くの歌い手がカバーしてきた楽曲だ。その歌を陽彩は、少し掠れた伸びのある歌声を魅力に、触れた人たちの心をギュッと抱きしめてゆく。ときに気持ち崩れそうな歌声で、ときには雄々しき声を上げ、みんなを未来へ導くように陽彩は「愛をください」を歌い上げていた。悲しさを背負った人たちに変わり、思いを解き放つように歌う陽彩。生まれた意味や、この時代の中で生きる意味を、この歌は問いかける。『生まれた意味、生きてく意味、知りたいから・・君の心に・・僕の心に・・愛をください』悲しみがたくさん渦巻く今の時代だからこそ、陽彩の歌う「愛をください」が、心に一筋の光を注ぐ歌として響いていた。

　70年代フォークロックの香りも抱いた「紙飛行機」を、陽彩はみずからの青春時代を懐かしむように歌っていた。彼が見ていたのは目の前の観客たち。でも、その視線の先には、自分が夢中になっていた青春時代の姿があった。聴いている側も、少しノスタルジーな気分を胸に、山川陽彩の歌声を記憶のページをめくる指先に変え、懐かしい想い出に浸っていた。『戻りたい・・戻れない・・解ってるけど・・君と僕の紙飛行機・・あの夏へ飛ばそう』歌詞に合わせ、腕や指を使って想いを示す動きや、胸にジッと手を当て想いに浸る姿も印象的だ。『いつか笑顔で・・君に会いたい・・』大サビで空へ想いを飛ばすように熱唱したときの歌声が、胸をしめつけた。世代を超えて誰の心にもある青春の淡い傷みを呼覚ます陽彩の声こそが、唯一無二の武器なんだろう。

最後に届けたのが、今の山川陽彩の顔となる「あの夏の約束」。過ぎ去った夏を少しだけ連れ戻すように、陽彩は歌っていた。それまでのキリッとした表情とは異なり、「あの夏の約束」を歌うときの陽彩は笑顔だった。切ない想い出を前向きに受け止めた楽曲だからこそ、陽彩も、愛しい大切な人へエールを送るように、光携えた歌声を届けてくれた。ゆったりとしたおおらかな楽曲に触れながら、この歌でも、在りし日の眩しい想い出に浸っていた人たちも多かったろうか。
　山川陽彩の歌は、たとえ切ない歌でも、未来を見据えた曲でも、触れた人たちの心にかならず景色を映し出す。陽彩の歌う楽曲をキーワードに、その歌や言葉から導かれた、その人が浸りたい風景を心の中へ映し出してゆく。心の中に埋もれかけた様々な原風景に柔らかな彩りを点けるような不思議な歌声。

ノンストップで4曲を歌い上げた。イントロやエンディングに乗せて、最小限のMCのみの構成。歌声と作品だけで勝負をする陽彩のライブスタイル。短い時間だったとはいえ、そのときだけは現実を忘れ、夢に浸っていれたのも山川陽彩の歌声がかけてくれた素敵な魔法があったからに違いない。
