剣術に長けた女子高生の玉織紬が、突然、織田信長が最期を迎える"本能寺の変"の日にタイムスリップ。新しく歴史を塗り替えるように、戦乱の中、女性忍者たちとの交流も深めながら、戦いを繰り広げてゆく。それが、12月1日発売予定のゲーム「SAMURAI MAIDEN -サムライメイデン-」。
声優の夜道雪は、「SAMURAI MAIDEN」に登場するヒロインの女子高生「玉織紬」役を演じている。さらに、同ゲームの主題歌『DIVINE TUNING』を歌唱。出演声優陣が歌うエンディングテーマ『言ノ葉ニ咲ク』にも参加している。ここでは、ゲーム「SAMURAI MAIDEN」の魅力や、ヒロイン玉織紬について。さらに、ゲームの主題歌『DIVINE TUNING』とエンディングテーマ『言ノ葉ニ咲ク』のことも語ってもらった。


――雪さんは、ゲーム「SAMURAI MAIDEN」のヒロインであり、戦国時代にタイムスリップした女子高生の玉織紬役を演じています。最初に、作品の印象から聞かせてください。

夜道雪　わたし、歴史はちょっと好きな分野だから、いろんな妄想を巡らせることもよくあります。それこそ、この作品のように「タイムスリップしたらどうなるんだろう」とか。「SAMURAI MAIDEN」で例えるなら織田信長の姿は絵では見たことはあっても、誰も動いている姿を見たことはないから、「織田信長って、本当はどういう人相や姿をしているんだろう」「身長はどれくらいあるんだろう」「とても怖い人なのか」など、よく寝る前にそんな考えを巡らせては、そこから動いている姿などの妄想を広げることもあります。
ゲーム「SAMURAI MAIDEN」では、わたしが演じる紬ちゃんはタイムスリップをして、実際に織田信長に出会います。戦国時代の人たちって、一体どんな姿形や性格なのか。紬ちゃんが、その時代に生きた人たちと出会えるって、歴史好きのわたしからしたら羨ましいなと思いました。

――玉織紬さんは、剣術を得意としている女子高生ですよね。

夜道雪 紬ちゃんは普通の女子高生ながらも(剣術一家に生まれたこともあって)剣術に長けていることから、物語の中でも、その剣術を用いてバトルをしていきます。バトルシーンの数々はもちろん、ストーリーも奥深いし、そこから紬ちゃんのいろんな心情も見えてくるから、そこにも注目してPLAYしてください。
紬ちゃん、最初は本当に普通の女子高生として登場しますけど、戦国時代にタイムスリップし、その地で少しずつ仲間を増やしていく中で、その子たちが自分の生き方とはかけ離れた人生を歩んでいることから、いろんなものを吸収し、成長していきます。紬ちゃん自身も、戦国の世にはない要素を持っていることから、その魅力を他の仲間たちに与えてゆく。紬ちゃんを筆頭に、登場するキャラクターたちの心情の変化や成長、あと、「口憑けの術」などドキドキ的な要素も、このゲームの嬉しい見せ場になっています。わたしも、演じながらドキドキしていました。

――雪さんは、ゲームのオープニングテーマ『DIVINE TUNING』とエンディング曲の『言ノ葉ニ咲ク』を歌っています。この曲たちの魅力も教えてください。

夜道雪 普段のわたしの場合、オリジナル曲の活動では昭和歌謡などミドルテンポの楽曲を歌うことが多いです。だから、激しい曲調の『DIVINE TUNING』を歌うとなったときは、その世界を生かせるように頑張って歌の練習を積み重ね、レコーディングに挑みました。格好いい曲調に合わせて韻を踏んでゆく歌詞が歌っていて心地好くて、わたしの好きな部分です。
エンディング曲の『言ノ葉ニ咲ク』は、歌詞が本当に美しいんですね。戦国時代の風情や情景が思い浮かんでくる歌詞であり、わびさびの効いた曲調で、本当に戦国時代にタイムスリップしたような感覚を覚えます。だから、『言ノ葉ニ咲ク』を聞くことで「SAMURAI MAIDEN」の世界を感じてもらえると思います。この曲を、わたしや、他の声優さんも歌っています。ゲームでは、みんなの歌声を一つにした、全員のハーモニーを生かした楽曲になるそうです。わたしもまだ完成形を聴いてないから、ゲームで流れるのを楽しみにしています。

夜道雪 「SAMURAI MAIDEN」の玉織紬役を演じています、夜道雪です。「SAMURAI MAIDEN」は可愛い美少女ゲームかと思ったら、ストーリーもしっかりしていれば、何よりアクションがすごく楽しい内容です。個性豊かなキャラクターたちが混じり合っていく姿は楽しくもあり、少し悲しくもある。その世界観へ浸りながら楽しんでいただける内容だと思います。ぜひ、ゲームのリリースを楽しみにしていてください。
