バブロックガールズバンドのBabBubble(ばぶばぶる)、4月27日に青山RizMで初のワンマン公演を開催!!!! 　

"バブロック"をテーマに掲げ、活動中。完全セルフプロデュース ガールズバンドのBabBubble(ばぶばぶる)。結成から1年半、これまでの活動の集大成と、これからのBabBubbleが描く未来図を示そうと、4月27日に青山RizMで初のワンマン公演「1st ONEMAN LIVE 「BabBubble Carries On」」を催す。

メンバーいわく、「魅力的な女の子」という意味を持つ"Babe"と「泡」という意味を持つ"Bubble"。これらの単語を足して「泡のように儚く魅力的な女性たち」という意味を込め、BabBubbleと命名。口ずさみやすいキャッチーな歌を軸に据えながらも、演奏はゴリゴリと激しい、"つかみを持った荒々しい音楽性"がBabBubbleの魅力になっている。

　なぜ、BabBubbleがワンマン公演を行うと決めたのか。その理由や、ワンマン公演の見どころを、以下のように語ってくれた。

ジーナ　メンバーみんな、メンバー構成としては、この4人のBabBubbleが、今後永遠に続いていく「最終形態」という気持ちで活動をしています。ワンマン公演を決めたのは、昨年10月に行った初の主催イベントで手応えを感じ、「一度、今のBabBubbleの出来る集大成を形にして、みんなにお見せしよう」「私たち自身も、今のBabBubbleをどこまで進化させていけるのかを試そう」という思いが生まれたことからでした。

Ray BabBubbleを始めたことで、自分が発信してゆくべき自覚や責任感も大きくなっています。なぜ、わたしがBabBubbleのフロントに立って歌っているのか。その意味を示すワンマン公演にしていくつもりです。同時に、ワンマン公演を経験することで、自分がどのように更なる成長を見せていけるのか、そこにも期待しています。加えて、BabBubbleはこんなにも恰好いいことをやっていくバンドなんだという姿勢もしっかり示したいです。

青柳ナツヲ 日々活動をしていると、いろんな方に誘われてライブへ出演するなど、流れに乗っかった活動が軸になるじゃないですか。ここまでのBabBubbleは、その波に良い形で乗れてここまで成長してきましたけど。これからは、自分たちで流れを作ることも大切だと思った。だからこそ、ワンマン公演も企画をしました。今後、さらに自分たちで波を作ってゆくためにも、今回のワンマン公演をそのきっかけにしていきたい。同時に、「今の自分たちは何処へ向かい、どういう風に自分たちの足で進んでゆくのか」を確かめたいし、それを示すライブにしていきます。とにかく、日々着実にレベルアップを続け、ワンマン公演の日にBabBubbleの最大値を見せますから。

ジーナ　ワンマン公演までに新曲をいくつか披露しようと、今、全員が新曲制作をしています。現時点でも、それぞれの作った曲の色が異なるから、どんな個性を持った新曲が飛び出すのかも楽しみにしていてください。ワンマン公演は、活動初期から現在までの集大成を見せていく場にもなるから、バンドの音楽性が、軸をぶらすことなくどのように変化や成長してきたのかも見れるはずです。加えて、次のBabBubbleを示す仕掛けも施す予定です。ワンマン公演の場を一つの区切りに、次のBabBubbleの片鱗を見せてゆく。そういう期待を持ってもらえるライブにしたいし、メンバー自身が、そうなることへすごくワクワクしています。

さきゃもん ここまですべてを自分たちだけの手で作り、育ててきたからこそ、メンバー全員が本気で「BabBubbleは恰好いい」と思っています。その思いをすべてぶつける公演にします。この日は、既存曲へ新曲も織り交ぜた内容。絶対に「楽しかった」という気持ちで帰ってもらえるライブにしていくので、楽しみにしていてください。

　少しでもBabBubbleの存在が気になった方は、ワンマン公演はもちろん。イベントの場を通してライブに触れ、彼女たちの提唱する"バブロック"の魅力を感じてもらいたい。
