7!!（セブンウップス）、感涙の渋谷公会堂初ワンマン！

　沖縄出身・在住の男女4ピースバンド、7!!（セブンウップス）が8月17日（日）、渋谷公会堂にて「7!!のうぷぷな日SPECIAL 10th Anniversary～渋公ちゃん、ばんみかちぇー!!～」を開催した。

　結成10周年を迎えた7!!にとって、記念すべき初のホールワンマンライヴとあって、開演前から高まる期待と熱い熱気に包まれていた。「渋谷のみんな元気？ 今日は、全力で楽しいライブにしていきます！」というヴォーカル・NANAEの呼びかけで会場は盛り上がりを見せる。

　8月13日に2ndアルバム『STARTLINE』をリリースしたばかりということもあり、アルバム収録のヒットシングル「スタートライン」（読売テレビ・日本テレビ系TVアニメ『金田一少年の事件簿R』エンディングテーマ）、「メロディ・メーカー」（tvk『saku saku』2014年度オープニングテーマ）はもちろんのこと、「フォーリン・ラブ」「ラヴァーズ」「さよならメモリー」「ドキドキ」「弱虫さん」などヒット曲を次々に披露していく。

　NANAEはMCで渋谷公会堂ワンマンライヴへの想いと、結成からの10年を振り返り、「最初は4人で音を鳴らすことが楽しくて、ただただ毎日を一緒に過ごし、音楽を続けてきました。辛い時期もあったけれど、あきらめずに続けてきてよかったです。10周年を迎えて、渋谷公会堂でワンマンライブができることは、決して当たり前ではなくて、7!!を支えてくれた沢山の人たちと、今日ここに来てくれた“アナタ"がいたから、渋谷公会堂に立てました。7!!を渋谷公会堂に連れてきてくれてありがとうございました」と語り、大粒の涙を流した。

　アンコールラストには、2ndアルバム『STARTLINE』通常盤のボーナストラックとして収録の「弱虫さん（うちなーVer.）」でコラボレーションした三線（さんしん）奏者、宜保和也がスペシャルゲストとして登場。初の渋谷公会堂はユーモアあふれるMCもあり、7!!の幅広い音楽性が十分に楽しめるライヴであった。

　今後7!!は、全国ツアーを9ヵ所で開催し、秋には奄美大島出身の音楽ユニット、カサリンチュとのアコースティックツアーも決定。10周年ならではの怒涛の活動に注目してほしい。
