【SCREW】全国ツアーの地方ラストの名古屋公演で待望の新曲リリース決定を発表

　バンド名を冠したメジャー1stアルバム『SCREW』も好評、SCREWのニューシングルが11月6日にリリースすることが解禁された。

　メジャー1stアルバムでラウドロックやミクスチャー、エレクトロ等アグレッシヴなサウンドをベースにさらなる進化を遂げ、より高いところへ向かっていく新たな決意を感じさせてくれたSCREWが次に放つシングルのタイトルは「CAVALCADE」。

　今作について鋲（Vo）は「マイナスの感情のパレードに立ち向かい、前進する様を痛快にアッパーに描きました。それと、タイトルが意味する通り華やかに自分達の道を進んでいきたいと思います」とコメント。

　そして8月31日、メジャー1stアルバム『SCREW』の世界観をより濃く、深く浸透させていった全国ツアーの地方ラストの名古屋公演でセミファイナル迎えた。

　フロアが暗転し紫の照明が縦横無尽にステージを照らしだすと、メンバーが登場。1曲目からアルバムのリード曲となる「Red Thread」をプレイ。立て続けに「マスカレード」、「アウトキャスト」とアルバム曲を惜しみなく披露し、フロアの熱量は上昇し続ける。メジャーデビューシングル「XANADU」はファンと合唱し、ライブの鉄板チューン「S=r&b」ではいつものようにメンバーが煽り、ファンはこれでもかと言わんばかりにヘッドバンキングで応える。 そして鋲（Vo）からのMCで待望のニューシングル「CAVALCADE」が11月6日リリースとなるという嬉しい報告が。

　「メジャーデビューして1年が経とうとしています。“SCREWは変わった"とか“丸くなった"とか言う人もいます。だけど俺らは何も変わっていません。それは俺の言葉では無く、次のシングルを聴いて判断してください」と力強く言う鋲に、フロアから大きな拍手が起きた。アンコール終了後も鳴り止まない再登場を望む声に急遽Wアンコールでメンバーが登場し、最後に「惨殺Fiction」をプレイ。

　おなじみのナンバーから、アルバム「SCREW」の曲まで全25曲を披露し鋲の「最後、LIQUIDROOMで遊びましょう！」という言葉でセミファイナルの名古屋公演が締めくくられた。

　そんな彼らからファンにプレゼント企画が急遽決定。9月23日EBISU RIQUID ROOMにて迎えるファイナル公演で、前日のインフォメーションクラブ「Siesta」限定LIVEでの模様を数曲収めたＤＶＤを来場者全員に無料配布。

　そしてもう1つ、モデルとしても活躍する鋲（Vo）が109MEN'Sなどでも大人気のブランド「CIVARIZE」の秋冬カタログモデルとして3度目の登場をすることが決まった。今回は、鋲以外にも同じ所属事務所の仲間でもあるダウトの威吹、ＶｉＶｉＤのイヴも登場。鋲を中心に「CIVARIZE」の秋冬アイテムを優雅に着こなす彼らの姿は話題になること間違いなし。そんな魅力的なカタログは全国の「CIVARIZE」取り扱い店舗で9月14日より無料配布される。さらに商品をお買い上げの方のはポスターも貰えるというので、詳しくはオフィシャルサイト等でチェックしよう。（CIVARIZE直営店舗以外は14日より順次配布開始）
