プルモライト、全国ツアー東京公演は女性ヴォーカルバンドだけが出演!?

札幌を拠点に活動する4人組ロックバンド、プルモライトがツアー「～君を待つ新世界～」が1月23日（金）よりスタートさせる。

プルモライトは昨年12月に発売したミニアルバム『World's End』が多くのメディアに取り上げられ好評で、ツアーは同作を引っさげて行われるもの。1月25日（日）に下北沢BASEMENT BARで行われる東京公演は『Beat Happening！Next Happening is MAX！』というイベントで、このBeat Happening！は今後ブレイクしそうな格好いいアーティストが多く出演することで知られている。

このイベントのオーガナイザーみずぐちひろしが、今回のラインナップについて次のようにコメントを寄せてくれた。

「『Beat Happening！Next Happening is MAX！』。ビーハプ！が間違いなく次に来るバンド、シンガーを厳選してお届けしているのがNext Happening is…シリーズ。今回は個性と実力を併せ持った、しかも女性Voのみが5組揃った。この日が東京レコ発ともなる札幌発！着実にその名が広まって来たプルモライト。昨年、全国リリースのあったイロメガネなどなど、知名度うんぬんでなくメジャーシーンに対抗出来うるブレイク候補の原石がひしめき合うこの日。全ての音楽ファンに満足頂けるはず。頭から最後迄、5つの新しい音楽との出会いにご期待ください。そして、プルモライトのレコ発を全力でお祝いしたい！そんな夜です」

また、プルモライトの女性ヴォーカル上林唯愛は、このイベントについて次のように話す。

「全国リリースしてから初めての東京公演。気合充分で臨みたいと思います。今回は、全て女性ヴォーカルのバンドが揃い、とても楽しみな夜になりました。女性だけにしか出せない力強さ、それを音に全部ぶつけたいと思います。そして、一人でも多くの人にプルモライトの音楽、ライブを感じてもらいたいです」

今後、イロメガネ、A Month of Sundays、ロイジプシー、Jump the Lights、プルモライトのラインナップでライブを観ることは二度と出来ないかもしれない。この中からどのアーティストにブレイクする力があるか自分の目で確かめてみるのはどうだろうか。
