LUNA SEA主催「LUNATIC FEST.」のオープニングアクトはLUNACY！

本日5月29日（金）、LUNA SEAが主宰する史上最狂のロックフェス「LUNATIC FEST.」のオフィシャルサイトにて、両日のオープニングアクトとしてLUNACYの出演が発表された。

去る5月18日に最終アーティストとしてX JAPANとBUCK-TICKが発表され、ロックシーンの話題を独占したが、これで正真正銘、全てのラインナップが出揃ったことになる。

最終アーティストの発表と同時にオフィシャルサイトに出現した＜5.29　オープニングアクト発表＞の文字に、SNS上では「オープニングアクトの追加？」という疑問の声と、であれば「どんなアーティストがラインナップされるのか？」について盛んにつぶやかれていたが、ファンの間では周知であるLUNA SEAの結成記念日5月29日に、当時のバンド表記であるLUNACYの登場という、誰もが予想もし得なかった衝撃的な一報が告げられたのだ。

ある意味、5月18日に発表されたX JAPAN、BUCK-TICKが正に最終アーティストだったことに間違いはなかったということだが、自らがオープニングアクトとして登場する真意は、LUNA SEA主宰のフェスにおいて、出演を快諾してくれた全てのアーティスト達への最大の敬意と、25年というバンド自身の歴史を、この二日間を通じてファンと共に、思う存分に分かち合いたいという強い想いからではないだろうか。そしてそれこそが、LUNACYとしての出演という必然を導いたと言えるだろう。

さあ、いよいよ準備は整った。あとは日本の音楽史に残る伝説的な2日間の目撃者に、あなた自身がなるだけである。そして、次の世代へと語り継がれていくであろう歴史的瞬間の証人となってほしい。6月、“最強で最狂"のラインナップが、幕張メッセのステージで待ち構えている。
