D.W.ニコルズ、1000円ワンマンライブ開催＆シングル「ハッピーラッキーデイ」発売決定

D.W.二コルズが7月12日（日）に渋谷TSUTAYA O-EASTにて開催した、結成10周年ワンマンツアー「痛快！ニコニコLIFEツアー」のファイナル公演で、10月11日（日）に赤坂BLITZで「感謝の1000円ブリッツ！」を開催すること、さらにニューシングル「ハッピーラッキーデイ」をリリースすることを発表した。

ファンを巻き込み、ステージと客席が気持ちを通わせながら一緒に盛り上がっていく…そんな彼らのライブパフォーマンスとトークによって、会場は終始笑顔があふれる大盛況のツアーファイナルとなった、この日。

アンコールで、わたなべだいすけ（Vo）が「嬉しいお知らせがあります」と、10月11日（日）に赤坂BLITZで「感謝の1000円ブリッツ！」を開催することを発表。この日は昼の部「ハッピーデイ」、夜の部「ラッキーデイ」2公演が行われる予定で、各公演とも1000円という破格の料金設定となっているとのことだ。

D.W.二コルズとして初めてライブを行ったのが、2005年の10月。その日からちょうど10年というメモリアルな日でもあることから、ファンへの日頃の感謝の気持ちを伝えるライブを開催したい、チケット代は1000円におさえたいというメンバーからの強い希望があり、この企画の実現が決まったという。

さらに、ニューシングル「ハッピーラッキーデイ」のリリースも同時発表。このシングルは、親交の深いC.W.ニコル氏が私財を投じて作り上げた長野県黒姫の「アファンの森」にてレコーディングされたもの。木々のざわめきや鳥のさえずりに包まれ、初のフィールドレコーディングに挑戦した音源が、3 曲入りのシングルとして発売。こちらは10月11日（日）「感謝の1000円ブリッツ！」の会場で発売開始となる。
