スカパラ、クリープハイプの尾崎世界観とコラボ!?

7月29日に発売となる東京スカパラダイスオーケストラの両A面シングル「爆音ラヴソング／めくったオレンジ」。そのヴォーカリストに、クリープハイプの尾崎世界観を迎えていることがわかった。

スカパラの加藤隆志（Gu）がフェスで、クリープハイプの尾崎世界観に“僕、クリープハイプのファンなんです”と声をかけたことから両者の交流がスタート。昨年、デビュー25周年を終え、新たな気持ちでの活動を決意した“新生スカパラ”からのオファーに、尾崎が2曲で応える形となった。ヴォーカリストを迎えて2曲を両A面シングルとしてリリースするのは、スカパラにとっても初の試みだ。

2曲とも作曲はキーボードの沖祐市、アレンジはスカパラ、そして作詞は谷中敦（Baritone sax）と尾崎の共作。その経緯、想い、レコーディング風景、インタビューなどは鹿野淳による密着レポとして、7月15日発売の雑誌『MUSICA』に掲載されている。

また、2曲のMV（ショートバージョン）と、スカパラと尾崎によるアーティスト写真も公開中だ。MVは映画を中心にMVやCMなど多くの作品を手がける柿本ケンサク監督によるもので、スカパラと尾崎が出演する「爆音ラヴソング」と、男女の不器用な愛をジェスチャーで表現した「めくったオレンジ」。また、アーティスト写真は広告・雑誌・WEBなどで注目のカメラマン、神藤剛。お揃いのスーツで、ロンドンのルードボーイたちを思わせる仕上がりとなっている。

さらに、初回生産限定盤の特製ブックレットが、尾崎によるスカパラ撮り下ろしフォトブックであることも発表された。その特製ブックレットに加え、スカパラのライヴ音源9曲、購入者限定ライヴ応募券、特殊仕様紙ジャケットという豪華な内容となっている。
