吉井和哉、カヴァーの歴史を凝縮した豪華4枚組カヴァー集の内容発表

吉井和哉のカヴァーアルバム『ヨシー・ファンクJr.～此レガ原点!!～』のデラックス・エディションが8月19日に発売されることがアナウンスされていたが、このたび、その豪華な収録内容の全貌とジャケット写真が明らかにされた。

『ヨシー・ファンクJr.～此レガ原点!!～Deluxe Edition』と名付けられたこの作品は、3枚のCDと1枚のDVD、計4枚のディスクで構成される。3枚のCDはすべて高音質のBlu-spec CD2仕様となっている。

まずDISC1は、昨年11月にリリースされた『ヨシー・ファンクJr.～此レガ原点!!～』の高音質バージョン。DISC2は、以前からリクエストの多かったDISC1のインストゥルメンタルヴァージョンで、ボーナストラックとして、オリジナルではイントロとアウトロで分かれていた「SPINNING TOE HOLD」が1曲として収録される。そしてDISC3は、THE YELLOW MONKEY時代から昨年発表した「Be My Last」まで、吉井がこれまでのキャリアで歌唱してきた洋邦・新旧織り交ぜた様々なカヴァー楽曲が11曲収録され、吉井の意外な一面や懐の深さをたっぷりと味わうことの出来る1枚となる。

さらに、DISC4のDVDには、2014年12月28日に日本武道館で行われた『YOSHII KAZUYA SUPER LIVE 2014～此コガ原点!!～』当日のライヴで披露したカヴァー楽曲を映像化した11曲が収録されることになる。また、ジャケットデザインも一新され、ゴールドであしらわれた立体的なエンブレムと重厚感のあるケースは、持つ者に充足感を与えるデラックスな仕上がりだ。

まさに吉井和哉のカヴァーの世界で埋め尽くされた豪華4枚組のデラックス・エディション。商品は完全受注生産限定となるので、早めの予約をオススメする。
