ウルフルズ、ニューアルバム収録曲「ロッキン50肩ブギウギックリ腰」MV完成

ウルフルズが9月9日にリリースするニューアルバム『ボンツビワイワイ』より、「ロッキン50肩ブギウギックリ腰」のMVを公開した。

歳を重ねる毎に訪れる身体の悩みを面白く綴った、24にも昇る症状を歌詞にしている新曲「ロッキン50肩ブギウギックリ腰。「この歌の主人公は、身体がボロボロなんだけど、結構元気（笑）。ノートを開いて右側のページに病気を書き出しまくって、それに音楽用語を混ぜながら左側のページに歌詞を書いていった」と作詞・作曲をしたトータス松本は語っている。まさにウルフルズ節炸裂のウルフルズにしかできない楽曲だ。

監督は、ウルフルズの作品を多く手掛けている竹内鉄郎氏。あのちょんまげ姿で有名な「ガッツだぜ!!」をはじめ「明日があるさ」「事件だッ!!」「バカサバイバー」「暴れだす」「サムライソウル」「情熱 A GO-GO」「泣けてくる」「両方 For You」「たしかなこと」等、多数の作品を手掛けてきた。ウルフルズ復活後、初のタッグとなる。

このMVを制作するに辺り、監督との打ち合わせの中で出てきたキーワードは、とにかく「大人のバカバカしさ」と「おっさん達の連帯感」。「※HIDALI（読み方：ヒダリ）」という集団による振り付けで、同じ格好をしたダンサー達（メンバー含む）が、一緒に奇妙なダンスを繰り広げる。単調な動きではあるが、そこにウルフルズらしく、熱さと泥さをプラスし、一体感を生み出している。日常の一コマの中で踊りながら、日常で起こる症状を表現。笑い無しでは観る事のできない作品だ。白いジャンプスーツ、そしてアフロを被り、髭をつけたメンバー。胸元には50肩の「50」と書かれたワッペン…。どれがメンバーだかさっぱり分からない。

とにかく体を張って踊りまくったMVは、これぞウルフルズ！　という作品に仕上がっている。

9月9日にリリースされるアルバム『ボンツビワイワイ』はトータル分数34分15秒という潔さ。大人の遊び心満載のアルバムになっているので乞うご期待。

また、先日アリーナ公演も発表され、アルバムを引っさげた全国ツアーが9月12日よりスタートする。ライヴハウス編・ホール編・アリーナ編の豪華3本立てとなるツアーに期待が高まる。

◎「HIDALI」とは？
正式名称は「左 HIDALI」。様々なジャンルの振付スペシャリスト5名から構成される「動き」のプロフェッショナル集団。2013年の発足以来、MVやアーティスト振付のほか、ライブやファッションショーなどのステージング、CMや番組での動き指導なども幅広く行う。ヒト・モノ・カンキョウを巻き込んだ「理論的」な動きが特徴。自らが監督・制作を行う映像作品「左グリーティングシリーズ」も定期的に発表している。

ウルフルズと出会って何年になるのだろう？
最初はまだぼくは大学生だった記憶がある。
威勢のいい大阪の兄ちゃんだった。
そしてぼくはウルフルズに育ててもらった。
いつもハードな現場で、カットの声の後のメンバーの「おもろかったかな？」
「よろこんでもらえるやろか？」という振り向く笑顔、まるで芸人さんのように
お茶の間に向き合う姿が本当に東京出身者のぼくにはには新鮮な驚きだった。

そしてついに久々にまたMVをやりました。6年ぶりか、、？

立ってるだけでぶっ倒れそうな真夏の炎天下の中、素晴らしいダンサー達HIDALIとともに
延々とダンスを踊りまくる50まじかのファンキーガイ。なんのためなのか？
演奏シーンなんてもちろん無い。踊る、また踊る。そしてわかり合う。意味なんか無い。最初っから。
というかダンサーとメンバー見分けがつかん！純度100％アホ！

振り返れば長い道のりだった。
でもまだ、先は長い。道ははるか、なかばだ。
そしてなんてステキな生き様をさらしてるんだろう。この4人は。
50肩どころかぼけてもハゲてもやりつづけろ！
