DECAYS、1stミニアルバムのジャケ解禁！ トーク＆握手会開催も決定！

DIR EN GREYのDieとMOON CHILDの樫山 圭を中心としたユニット、DECAYSが1stミニアルバム『Red or Maryam』（レッド・オア・マリアム）を12月16日にリリースする。

DECAYS初の音源作品となる『Red or Maryam』は、USBメモリーにて数量限定生産でのリリース。特殊デザインのUSBメモリーの中には、全7曲のハイレゾ音源とMP3音源だけでなく、iTunes Storeにて配信中のMV「Secret mode」、今年7月28日に赤坂BLITZで行なわれた主催イベント「DECAYS presents 『THE GROWTH TO DECAY』」のライヴ映像やオフショット写真データが収められている。

なお、USBメモリーでのリリースになるが、通常のアルバムと同じようにCD取扱い店舗にて予約、購入が可能だ。

そして、そのジャケット写真が公開となった。デザインを監修したDieは「シックでモノクロの世界。『Red or Maryam』を聴いてもらった人にそれぞれのイメージで色彩を加えてほしいと思います」とコメントしている。

また、東京と大阪で『Red or Maryam』の購入者を対象としたインストアイベントの開催も決定した。東京は12月16日にタワーレコード新宿店、大阪は12月20日にタワーレコード難波店で開催され、内容はDieと樫山 圭が参加するトーク＆握手会となっている。DECAYSは始動以来、まだ雑誌、TV、ラジオ、WEB等のメディアで取材を受けておらず、このインストアイベントは、メンバーから直接、アルバム制作にまつわるエピソードが聞ける貴重な機会となりそうだ。

さらに、『Red or Maryam』のリリース後には、大阪と東京でミニアルバムと同じタイトルを冠したワンマンライヴ「Red or Maryam」を12月21日にOSAKA MUSE、12月24日には新宿BLAZEで開催する。メンバーが「ライヴをイメージして制作してきた音源」、「グルーヴ、サウンド、メロディ。肌で感じてほしい」と語っているだけにミニアルバムとライヴの両方を体験することでDECAYSの真の姿、魅力に触れることができるはずだ。
