WEAVER、ニューアルバム『Night Rainbow』詳細＆トレーラー公開

WEAVERが2016年2月10日（水）に発売するニューアルバム『Night Rainbow』の詳細情報を解禁！　ジャケット写真、新アーティスト写真、アルバムの収録内容など、待ちに待った数多くの情報が公開された。

アルバムのジャケット写真は、虹の端に女性が佇んでいる印象的なもの。アルバムのタイトルとなっている“ナイトレインボー”とは、見ると幸福になれるという逸話があり、なかなか見ることができない奇跡的現象のこと。併せて公開されたアーティスト写真には、その虹をバックにしたメンバーが。その表情は、音楽で描く「Night Rainbow」を、決して簡単には出会えない音楽を、ぜひリスナーに身体で感じて確かめて欲しいという、今回のアルバムに懸けるメンバーの想いが伝わってくるビジュアルと言えるだろう。

また、収録楽曲も新たに公開されたが、先のホールツアーでも話題となった「クローン」「さよならと言わないで」「Welcome!」をはじめ、今年リリースされたシングル「くちづけDiamond」（TVアニメ「山田くんと7人の魔女」オープニングテーマ）や、TBS駅伝テーマソングとなっている「Boys & Girls」など話題曲も含む、全12曲を収録している。半年間のロンドン留学や、ライブハウスツアー海外公演等、着々名実ともにスケールアップした現在のWEAVERの、様々でカラフルな音楽性が凝縮された作品だと言えるだろう。

そして、今回のアルバムの初回盤に付属のDVDには、先日終えたばかりのホールツアー「WEAVER HALL TOUR 2015 Still Boys & Girls 〜Sing Like Dancing In Our Hall〜」のファイナル、NHKホール公演の映像が全曲収録されるとのこと。先日WOWOWで放送があったが、そこではオンエアされなかった本編の曲や、アンコールの映像まで余すことなく収められ、ファン垂涎の充実した内容となっている。

さらに今回アルバムのトレーラーも公開された。映像とともに流れる表題曲「KOKO」の音源も、間違いなく新たなWEAVERを感じさせる仕上がりとなっており、さらにアルバムへの期待感を煽るものとなっている。今後のミュージックビデオの展開とともに楽しみにしておこう。
