松本孝弘（Tak Matsumoto）が4月6日にニューアルバムをリリース

B'zの松本孝弘（Tak Matsumoto）が、4月6日にニューアルバム『enigma』をリリースする事を発表した。

2月16日に、現地ロサンゼルスのスタジオから放送されたWOWOW『生中継！第58回グラミー賞授賞式』に出演した松本孝弘。2011年にラリー・カールトンとの共作アルバム「TAKE YOUR PICK」で、第53回グラミー賞“最優秀ポップ・インストゥルメンタル・アルバム"を受賞した時以来の出演となった今回は、グラミー受賞アーティストならではの受賞当時のエピソードや今年の授賞式の見どころを語り、最後に完成間近のアルバムタイトルが『enigma』である事が初めて発表され、リスナーから続々と反響が寄せられていたニューアルバムの全貌がついに明らかに…！

昨年10月に一新された、TBS系テレビ『世界遺産』のメインテーマ「Vermillion Palace」とエンディングテーマ「Mystic Journey」、渋谷Bunkamuraにて3月19日から開催の浮世絵展『ボストン美術館所蔵 俺たちの国芳 わたしの国貞』のイメージソング「Ups and Downs」の書き下ろし曲も収録された今作は、エモーショナルな旋律とアグレッシブなギタープレイが融合した、メロディックでドラマティックなインストゥルメンタル作品。また、テレビ朝日系『ミュージックステーション』のテーマソングとしてお馴染みの名曲「#1090 ～Thousand Dreams～」の新録、その名も「#1090 ～Million Dreams～」がボーナストラックに収録！　さらに、初回限定盤の特典DVDとBlu-rayには、2014年に開催されたライブツアー『Tak Matsumoto LIVE 2014 -New Horizon-』からブルーノート東京での最終公演全15曲を初映像化でフル収録という豪華内容になっている。

ソロ名義では初の大阪城ホールと日本武道館を含む全国5ヶ所で開催される、4月16日からスタートのライブツアー『Tak Matsumoto Tour 2016 -The Voyage-』では、今作がどのように表現されるのか？　松本孝弘のソロキャリア史上においてエポックメイキングなアルバムとツアーなることは間違いないだろう。
