Starwave Recordsで一番人気な麺は誰なのか!?。3月29日新宿ReNYを舞台に「Starwave Records総選挙」を開催。あなたの入場チケットが、麺'Sたちの運命を左右する!?

今年で設立6周年を迎えるStarwave Records。今や所属バンドも11組と、ヴィジュアル系レーベルの中では現在一番多く!?のバンドを抱えている。同レーベルの特色が、バンドとファンたちとの密接な関係を大切にしていること。中でも、熱心に所属バンドを応援する信者に対しては極力"特別感"を届け、「独占欲」を満足させる展開を好んで行っている。
先日Misarukaが行った「たった一人のためだけのワンマンライブ」は、顕著な例。他にも様々な所属バンドたちによる「その月やその回のみの限定作品」のリリースや、所属バンドたちによる「このシリーズのみのコラボレートイベントやコラボCDの制作」、所属バンドどうしによる「2マンイベントに於ける互いの楽曲のコラボレート」、人数を少数に押さえレアー感を大切にした「限定人数ワンマン」などなど、「好きだからこそ、参加した人だけが味わえる特別さ」導き出した仕掛けを数多く行っている。
また、「Starwave fest」と題した、レーベル色を何時も以上に色濃く出したイベントも定期的に開催。昨年の「レーベル5周年イベント」のときには、所属全バンドのヴォーカリストを対象にした「Starwave Recordsバレンタイン選手権」を行い、「同レーベル内で誰が一番バレンタインにチョコレートをもらえるか!?」を競い合い、燭台(怪)の蜻蛉が1位を獲得。「間違いなく自分が1位だ」と勘違いしていたMisarukaのruiが落ち込むという裏エピソードも残されている。

レーベルとして大きな展開描くタイミングごとに開催し続けてきた「Starwave fest」。通算13回目となるイベントが、3月29日に新宿ReNYを舞台に開催になる。
今回は「Starwave Records レーベル6周年イベント」として行われる。出演するのは、Misaruka/Synk;yet/Tokami/THE SOUND BEE HD/Scarlet Valse/Calmando Qual/nüe/MAJOLICA/Fixerの9組。加えて、ゲストとしてVAMPIRE ROSE/アヴァンチックも華を添えている。
今回のイベントの特色が、「Starwave Records所属バンドの中で誰が一番人気なのか!?」を決める『Starwave Records総選挙』の開催だ。前回はヴォーカリストのみだったが、今回は、参加全バンドのメンバー全員が投票の対象になる。
この日のライブに足を運んだあなたのチケットが、そのまま投票権に変貌。果たして今回は誰が1位を獲得するのか!?。すでにMisarukaのruiは「1位ありがとう」と勝手に優勝したことを公言している。本当にその言葉通りになるのか、またも悔し涙に暮れるのか。すべては、来場する一人一人の「あなた」が運命を握っている。

さらに今回、来場者全員に「Starwave Records最新MVダイジェストDVD」を無料配布してくれる。他にも、イベントの最後には「大セッション」も控えていれば、会場内では、「二枚組コラボCDベストアルバム『Starwave Collaborations』」も限定発売になる。この中には、会場限定音源などレアーな音源を数多く収録。手に出来なかった幻の音源の数々を、この日この会場のみでふたたび手に入れるチャンスが巡ってくるように、ぜひGet していただきたい。
