ARTIFACT OF INSTANT、約1年ぶりとなる新作『Recoil』を8月3日にリリース

ARTIFACT OF INSTANTが2015年8月にリリースした2ndミニアルバム『不甲斐ない僕らは空を見上げた』以来となるオリジナル音源を8月3日にリリースすることを発表した。

タイトルは、銃を発砲したときに銃本体が後座するという意味の『Recoil』が冠され、7曲入りのミニアルバムとなる。バンドの略称・AOIをもじった青いカラーの特典やTシャツセットが販売されることも明らかになった。

また新たなアーティスト写真と収録楽曲「EGO」のMUSIC VIDEOも公開。アーティスト写真、MUSIC VIDEOともに黒を基調とした服装で統一さていて、モノトーンかつ厳かな雰囲気をまとっている。アーティスト写真は、バンドと懇意でライブ写真の多くも撮影している藤川正典氏によるもの。MUSIC VIDEOは、インディロック作品からメジャーシーンの作品までを数多く手掛ける脇坂侑希（isai inc.）との初タッグとなり、ライブ顔負けのアグレッシブな演奏シーンがバチバチと展開するMVに。なお今作よりバンドは自身のみが所属するレーベル・THE EIGYO RECORDを設立、ミニアルバムはそのレーベルからリリースされる。

合わせて、リリースツアーが開催されることも発表となった。全公演ゲストバンドを迎えて行なわれる予定で、初日はバンドの地元・宮崎floorR にて8月11（土）より行なわれ、各地を回ったのち10月末よりFainal Seriesと銘打って東京 渋谷、福岡、宮崎の3公演で締めくくる予定だ。

ARTIFACT OF INSTANTは、6月22日発売のグッドモーニングアメリカ監修のコンピレーションアルバム『あっ、良い音楽ここにあります。その伍』に参加し、受けるツアーにも参加する。全国各地にて、SIX LOUNGE、My Hair is Bad、NUBO、SHANK、SHIMAなどのツアーに参加し、名古屋SAKAE-SP-RING2016、大阪見放題2016、TOKYO CALLING2016などのサーキットにも参加する。
