RADWIMPS、新作のブックレットに映画『君の名は。』スペシャルコラボイラスト掲載決定

8月24日にリリースとなるRADWIMPSのニューアルバム『君の名は。』初回限定盤ブックレットに、映画『君の名は。』のスペシャルイラストが掲載されることがわかった。

RADWIMPSのメンバーが映画『君の名は。』の印象的なシーンにシルエットとなって登場するこのスペシャルイラスト。同映画のキャラクターデザインを手掛けたアニメーター・田中将賀が、この作品のためだけに特別にRADWIMPSのメンバーを描き下ろした。

田中将賀は『あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。』（2011年）、『あの夏で待ってる』（2012年）でキャラクターデザイン・総作画監督を手掛け、一躍注目を集めたアニメーター。長井龍雪監督の最新作『心が叫びたがってるんだ。』（15年）でもキャラクターデザイン・総作画監督を担当し、新海誠監督とはZ会のCM作品「クロスロード」で初タッグ。近年ではイラストレーターとしても活躍している、今アニメーション界で最重要人物とも言える存在だ。すでに発表されているRADWIMPSのアルバム『君の名は。』の作品内容に、さらに魅力的なコンテンツが花を添えることになる。

映画の公開は8月26日（金） 。アルバムの発売と合わせてチェックしてみてほしい。
