RADWIMPS、アルバム『君の名は。』ジャケット＆最新アーティストビジュアルを公開

RADWIMPSが8月24日（水）にリリースするニューアルバム『君の名は。』の初回盤のジャケットビジュアルと最新のアーティストビジュアルが解禁になった。

初回盤のジャケットビジュアルは『君の名は。』の物語が綴られた古書に見立てて制作された本がモチーフ。映画『君の名は。』で主人公の瀧と三葉の世界が入れ替わりながら進行していくストーリーから着想を経て、アニメーションの世界とRADWIMPSのメンバーの写真による現実の世界がレイヤー上に絡み合い、時に入れ替わりながら繰り広げられる。先立って発表されたRADWIMPS in『君の名は。』スペシャルイラスト（田中将賀氏がメンバー描きおろし）も印象的に登場する構成となっており、見応えあるブックレットになること必至である。また、通常盤は映画のキーとなる彗星が夜空に鮮やかに描かれたジャケットビジュアルとなっている。

最新アーティスト写真は、二方向から照明をあてることにより、影がレイヤーのように広がる世界観を視覚的に表現されており、『君の名は。』のブックレットとリンクした最新ビジュアルとなっている。

また、6月27日（月）正午より、Yahoo！映画のトップページで、映画『君の名は。』の予告映像第2弾が公開になった。予告映像第2弾では、新たに主題歌の1曲である「スパークル」が使用されており、第1弾で使用されていた「前前前世」とともに映画の大切なシーンにリンクし、映画の美しい映像とともにRADWIMPSが奏でる美しいメロディが胸に迫る。

アルバム『君の名は。』には、すでに映画『君の名は。』の予告編映像で使用されている「前前前世」（読み：ぜんぜんぜんせ）、「スパークル」を含む、主題歌となるボーカル楽曲を4曲収録。さらにRADWIMPSの今までの全てのソングライティングを手がける野田洋次郎だけでなく、RADWIMPS史上初となる桑原（Gt.）及び武田（Ba.）が作曲した楽曲含む22曲の劇伴が収録されている。初回限定盤には、レコーディング風景や新海誠監督とRADWIMPSによる対談インタビューに加え、野田洋次郎による劇伴のピアノソロスタジオライブなどの貴重な映像を収めたDVDが付属。さらにブックレットには、映画の場面カットやRADWIMPSのメンバーフォト、劇伴のピアノ譜、同映画のキャラクターデザインを手がけた新時代を代表するアニメーター・田中将賀氏が、この作品のためだけに特別に描き下ろしたRADWIMPSのメンバーのスペシャルイラストなども収められており、映画の世界観を余すところなく詰め込んだ、LPサイズ仕様のスペシャルパッケージに仕上がっている。

2016年8月26日（金）より全国公開されるポスト宮崎駿・細田守と謳われる新海誠監督のアニメーション長編映画『君の名は。』は、RADWIMPSの多種多様な音楽性と、新海誠監督の美しくも切ない詩的な世界観が化学反応を引き起こし、音楽とアニメーションのかつてない密なコラボレーションによる作品。新海誠監督とRADWIMPSによる妥協のない作業を繰り返した末に生まれた、オリジナルアルバムに匹敵する濃密な作品となるこの同名映画のサウンドトラックでもある最新作『君の名は。』は、音楽ファンのみならず、映画・アニメファンからも注目されている。
