X JAPAN、X時代の映像商品をコンプリートした8枚組BOXをBlu-ray化！

X JAPANが『VISUAL SHOCK Blu-ray BOX 1989-1992』を12月7日にリリースすることがわかった。

日本最大級のヴィジュアル系音楽フェス「VISUAL JAPAN SUMMIT 2016」（10月14日（金）、15日（土）、16日（日） 幕張メッセ）の開催も発表になり、秋には完全復活するX JAPAN。

バンドが奇跡の再結成を遂げた翌年の2008年に完全生産限定盤として発売され、現在は入手不可能になっているDVD BOX『VISUAL SHOCK DVD BOX 1989-1992』に、最新テクノロジーによる映像デジタルリマスタリングを施し、Blu-ray化した新装版BOXの発売が決定した。

1989年3月16日の渋谷公会堂など、メジャー進出前後の貴重な映像から、オフショット、MV、そしてX時代最後のライヴとなった1992年1月7日、東京ドームの「破滅に向かって」まで、ソニー・ミュージック在籍時の映像商品をコンプリート。YOSHIKI、TOSHI、PATA、HIDE、TAIJIの5人による活動の軌跡を高画質で体感できる、永久保存決定版となっている。

なお、7月27日には1991年のアルバム『Jealousy』の最新リマスター盤がリリース。初回生産限定盤はmoraハイレゾダウンロードクーポンが同梱され、高品質のBlu-spec CD2と合わせてハイクオリティーな音が楽しめる。
