Misaruka、8月に行ったワンマン公演の模様を収録したLIVE DVDを発売!!

時々思うことがある。バンドを評価する基準というのは一体何処にあるのか!?ということを。メディアに数多く、しかも規模が大きく載っているからすごいバンド!?。失礼な言い方をするなら、お金さえ投資すれば、相応の見栄えはする。でも、良質な音楽と料金が正比例するか!?と言われれば、けっしてそんなことはない。何を持ってバンドは評価されるべきなのか!?、そこは純粋な視点で捉えているリスナーたちの感覚や感性を何よりも一番に信じるべきこと。いくらメディアが発達し、宣伝の手法が変わろうと、ファンたちの口コミこそが一番信頼を得れる情報源なのは、今後も変わることはないだろう。

　個人的に、もっと評価されて然るべきバンドと思っているのがMisarukaだ。もちろん、時代性や人それぞれの趣味趣向があるように、万人に評価して欲しいとは思わない。ただ、本来あるべきヴィジュアル系の王道スタイルを継承しながら、同時に「歌もの」としての魅力をしっかり投影しているバンドであることは伝えておきたい。
　ハードシンフォニック/刹那浪漫/ダーク&メロウ…けっして、昨今の頭を振りまくれる過激運動系バンドではない。でも、本来ヴィジュアル系として支持を得た音楽は、彼らのようなダークで耽美浪漫な装いを持ったバンドたちだった。Misarukaはその香りを今に伝える、まさに正統派なバンド。その現実を踏まえ、改めて彼らの音楽へ向き合っていただきたい。

10月29日(土)にMisarukaは、ライブ会場&通販限定作品として、8月8日に新宿ReNYで行ったライブの模様を収録した限定LIVE DVD『2016.08.08新宿ReNY -Reunion-』を発売する。当時のMisarukaにとって、それまでの活動の歩みを集大成したライブだった。だからこそ、Misarukaというバンドの本質を知っていただくうえでも、この作品に触れて欲しい。もちろん、最終的な好き嫌いを判断するのは触れた人次第だ。でも、バンドの本質に触れないことには答えなんて出せないのも事実。この作品には、生々しさを持って今を伝えるMisarukaの姿が映し出されている。
まずは、このLIVE DVDを通してMisarukaの本質を受け止めて欲しい。それからでいい、あなたなりの答えを出すのは。ただし、見ることもなく。もしくは、スポット映像のみを通しわかった振りをして答えを出すのだけはやめていただきたい。耳の肥えた人たちなら、きっと理解してくれるだろう。もっと世間的に評価されるべきバンドが、ここにいることを。
