AK-69、UVERworldと“あの新曲”を初パフォーマンス！

AK-69が11月23日に発売するヒップホップ名門レーベルのDef Jam Recordings第1弾アルバム『DAWN』より、新曲「Forever Young feat.UVERworld」を、Zepp SapporoにてUVERworldと共に初パフォーマンスした。

初披露となったのは11月1日に開催された『UVERworld vs AK-69 at Zepp Sapporo』という2アーティストの“対バン”公演でのこと。AK-69、UVERworldがそれぞれMCの熱いメッセージと共に、60分の凝縮かつ濃厚なステージで魅せた。

「Flying B」「IRON HORSE」「With You～10年、20年経っても～」「And I Love You So」「START IT AGAIN」など代表曲を含めた17曲を駆け抜けたAK-69。初披露となった「Forever Young feat.UVERworld」は、UVERworldのショウパートのフィナーレ直後のサプライズパフォーマンスとなった。

UVERworldのTAKUYA∞の“AK-69をどーしてリスペクトしているか教えてやるからな”というコメントから、今回のコラボレーションのショートムービーが流れ終わると同時に、AK-69が登場！ ロックとヒップホップの新たな化学反応と言うべき、ジャンルレスにしてパワー溢れるこのパフォーマンスに会場は一体となり、数度目の盛り上がりのピークを迎えた。

AK-69は“UVERworldファンのみんな、UVERworldを貸してくれてありがとうございます。最高のサウンドを吹き込んでくれてありがとう、音楽の壁はありません。AK-69をこの場にいざなってくれてすべての皆さんに感謝してます”と、この奇跡のコラボレーションに感謝を表した。

なお、このパフォーマンスは当日撮影が行なわれ、MVになる予定だという。こちらもスリリングな映像に仕上がること必至だ。

また、「Forever Young feat.UVERworld」は、アルバム『DAWN』からの先行トラックとして11月9日に配信される。
