Qaijff、地元名古屋でのワンマンライヴでメジャーデビューを発表

愛知県出身・在住の3人組ピアノポップバンドQaijffが、2017年にEPICレコードジャパンよりメジャーデビューすることが明らかになった。

Qaijffは森彩乃（Vo./Pf.）、内田旭彦（Ba./Prog.）、三輪幸宏（Dr.）からなるスリーピースバンドで、2012年の結成以降、音大卒の華麗なるピアノボーカル森の力強く透き通った歌声と、型にとらわれない幅広いサウンドで若者の心に刺さる楽曲を送りだし続けている。

2016年には、「Don't Stop The Music」が地元名古屋の名古屋グランパスエイトサポートソングに、「Wonderful Life」がTBS系テレビ『SUPER SOCCER』4月・5月度エンディングテーマにそれぞれ起用され、今春リリースした2ndミニアルバム『Life is Wonderful』の発売記念ツアーでは東京・名古屋公演をそれぞれ完売させるなど常に注目を集めている。

12月22日、地元名古屋SPADE BOXでのワンマンライヴにおいて、森が「Qaijff、2017年、EPICレコードからメジャーデビューします!!」と発表すると会場は歓喜に包まれた。 今回の決定についてQaijffは、「3歳の頃ピアノを始め、18歳の頃ステージで歌うことに憧れ、19歳で初めてのバンドを組み、解散、ソロ活動、紆余曲折ありやっとこのバンドに辿り着いた森彩乃の夢が、ひとつ叶いました。しかし、叶った時点で夢は夢ではなくなりました。物凄くリアルな今。ここからが勝負。メンバーと、応援し支えてくれている皆さんと一緒に、次の夢、飛び越えて行こう（森）」「自分の憂鬱を清算するみたいに作り続けて来た音楽は、いつしか聴いてくれる人のためにあれたらと強く思うようになりました。きっと多くの人が普遍的且つ安定的な自分を探していて、そんな自分に出会う場所はただ一つ、変化し続けた『未来』なのかなと思っています。だからこそ僕らも新しい音楽をクリエイトし続け、皆が本当の自分に出逢えるように、そして僕らもそれを体現できるように、強く発信していきたいと思っています。この先の未来で沢山の人に出会えますように、メジャーという舞台で、またここから、命削って音楽を届けにいきます（内田）」「小学校の頃からドラムを始め、ずっと夢見てきたメジャーの世界。嬉しくないわけがない。ただ、ずっと続けてきたからこそ、現状から垣間見えるこの世界の厳しさも少なからず理解してます。ようやく今、この音楽業界に勝負できる出場権を手にすることが出来ました。ここから更にパワーアップして皆さんに僕らの音楽を発信していきます。どうか変わらぬ応援とサポートを宜しくお願い致します（三輪）」とそれぞれの想いを語った。

さらにアンコールでは、来春のツアー「Qaijff Live Tour『next for the future』」の開催も発表、満員のファンを熱狂させた。発表と同時にオフィシャルHP先行を実施開始したので、ぜひチェックしてほしい。

現在、12月7日にリリースしたインディーズラストEP『snow traveler』リリースイベントを各地で実施中で、2017年も精力的にイベントへの出演を予定しており、今後の活躍から目が離せない。
