X JAPAN、映画『WE ARE X』サントラの詳細解禁

X JAPANのドキュメンタリー映画『WE ARE X』。その映画公開と同日の3月3日（金）にリリースされる、オリジナル・サウンドトラックの詳細が明らかになった。

X JAPAN初の全世界同時発売となる今作には映画のエンディング・テーマで、X JAPANならではの荘厳なバラードに仕上がった、YOSHIKI書き下ろしの新曲「La Venus」のアコースティック・ヴァージョンや、バンド復活のきっかけとなった名曲「Without You」のアンプラグド・ヴァージョンが初収録となる。

海外盤と日本盤の2種類が存在し、日本盤はジャケット写真が青色の海外盤と違い、全体的に赤が施された日本盤オリジナル・ジャケット仕様。また初回限定盤は特殊三方背ケースに収められ、X JAPANのステッカーが封入（3種類の内、1枚ランダム封入）されている。青盤（海外盤）、赤盤（日本盤）として浸透されそうだ。

さらに日本盤はCD2枚組となり、ボーナス・トラックとして「Rusty Nail（From DAHLIA TOUR FINAL~Mubou na Yoru~）」「Forever Love（From The Last Live）」の2曲が追加収録されている。

今作は米ソニーミュージックのレガシー・レコーディングスとワールドワイド契約、日本でもメジャー・デビュー時のレーベルであったソニーミュージックから四半世紀ぶりのリリースとなる。全キャリアの中でも特に重要な楽曲のライヴ音源やスタジオ音源を収録。映画の内容に沿った内容となっている。

アルバム発売、映画公開翌日の3月4日には、英国が誇るロックの聖地“ウェンブリー・アリーナ”公演を開催、その後はオリジナル・アルバムのリリースも期待され、世界から注目されるX JAPANの動向から目が離せない。
