UVERworld、“男祭り”に前代未聞の23,000人が集結

UVERworldが2月10日と11日にさいたまスーパーアリーナでライブにて開催！　完売となった本公演は2日併せて41000人を動員した。


2010日は全国アリーナのツアーファイナル。約4年ぶりにさいたまスーパーアリーナでライブを行うことにTAKUYA∞（Vo）は「楽しみすぎて昨日さいたまスーパーアリーナに泊まってるからね！どれだけ楽しみにしてたか！腹の底から声で聞かせろ！」と思いをぶつけ全22曲を披露した。

翌日の2月11日は通算9回目となる"男祭り"！　"男祭り"は2011年にキャパシティ約300人の地元・滋賀のライブハウスからスタートし、過去にはZepp Nambaなど売り切れ無かった公演もあったが、徐々に規模を拡大し、その後、2013年には日本武道館で約1万人、横浜アリーナで約1万2000人、2015年には神戸ワールド記念ホールで約8000人を動員し、いずれも完売となった。そして、この日アーティスト史上最大の前人未到、23,000人の男性ファンが集まり、抽選で選ばれた約200人の女性ファンが目撃者として参加した。

怒号とも取れる大歓声に迎えられてステージに登場したUVERworldは、映画＜新宿スワン㈼＞の挿入歌である『エミュー』を披露。「いいよ、いいよ。かかってこい！歴史的一夜が始まったぜ！」と集まった男性crewに呼びかけると、続けて『Don't Think.Feel』と『Collide』を披露し、TAKUYA∞（Vo）は何度も客席の中に飛び込んで熱唱。『Forever Young feat. UVERworld 』では"AK-69"がゲストとして登場し、男祭りを盛り上げた。

「UVERworldの男祭りは300人のキャパから始まって、遂にここまでたどり着きました。本当にありがとう！」とこれまでの活動を振り返り、感謝の言葉を語ったTAKUYA∞（Vo）。「今日ほど男として生まれたことを嬉しいと思ったことはない。俺たちはまだまだ色々なものを叶えられることがあるって信じてる。勘違いかもしれないけど、そう思いながら生きている日々は生きている感触しかないよ。23000人の男が集まるUVERworldがうらやましいだろ？お前らもそれぞれ違う輝き方見せてくれよ！俺たちにうらやましいって思わせてみろよな！」という言葉に続いて『7日目の決意』、ラストには予定にはなかった『MONDO PIECE』を披露。ファン同士が肩を組んで大合唱し、一体感あふれる光景が場内に広がった。

「新しい時代に足跡をつける。それがチームUVERworld！よろしくどうぞ！」と宣言しステージを降りたメンバー。アーティスト史上最大の動員数となった"男祭り"。歴史的一夜になったことは間違いないだろう。

なお、4月16日（日）にWOWOWにてUVERworldの特別番組＜UVERworld 男祭りHISTORY＞がオンエアされる。今回の男性限定ライブ＜UVERworld KING'S PARADE 2017＞のライブ映像が放送される他、番組内では過去の男性限定ライブのダイジェストや、メンバーへのインタビュー映像なども届けられる。ライブに足を運ぶことができないファンは、オンエアを楽しみにしておこう。
