UVERworld、3枚組ベスト盤リリース＆ファン投票による選曲も決定

5月2日にニューシングル「ODD FUTURE」のリリースを控えたUVERworldが、約9年ぶりとなるベストアルバムを7月18日にリリースすることを発表した。2005年のデビューから現在までの全ての楽曲から選曲され、メンバーセレクトによるベスト盤と、CREW（UVERworldのファンの総称）投票によって選ばれるベスト盤、そしてバラードベスト盤の3枚組構成となる。LPサイズのスペシャルパッケージ仕様の完全生産限定盤（特典CD付）、初回生産限定盤（DVD付・Blu-ray付の2種）、通常盤（CDのみ）の4仕様でリリースされることも分かった。なお、タイトルや収録曲などの詳細は後日発表予定とのこと。5月1日より特設サイトにて投票もスタートし、5月20日までの受付となるので、ぜひ参加してほしい。

さらに、7月26日～29日に代官山T-SITE GARDEN GALLERYにて、UVERworldと写真家の平野タカシによる写真展示イベント『#CONTACT』が開催されることも発表された。こちらは、2017年にさいたまスーパーアリーナにて行われた男性限定ライブ『UVERworld KING'S PARADE 2017 Saitama Super Arena』から現在に至るまでのUVERworldのリアルを綴った特別な展示イベントとなり、メンバーの今と未来、そして全てのUVERworld CREWとをコンタクトさせるというコンセプトでライブやオフショットなどを収めた膨大数の写真を展示予定。7月18日（水）発売のベストアルバムを全国のTSUTAYA RECORDS（TSUTAYA オンラインショッピング含む）で購入した方に数量限定で入場券が配布されるため、アルバムと合わせてチェックしたい。

そして写真展示に先立って、5月1日～16日まで代官山 蔦屋書店 音楽フロアにていち早く写真の一部をみることができる特別展示イベントprologue『#CONTACT』も開催となり、同時に数量限定で『#CONTACT』オリジナルフライヤーの設置、配布がスタート！　特に代官山 蔦屋書店では、ここでしか手に入らない限定絵柄が配布される。2018年も勢いあふれるUVERworldに要注目だ。
