DADARAY、超満員の初ライブでレコ発ツアーの開催を発表！

ベーシストの休日課長（ゲスの極み乙女。）の新プロジェクト・DADARAYが2月23日、下北沢ERAにて、バンド初となるライブ『DADARAY presents「DADAIST vol.1』を開催。溢れんばかりのファンが集まり、超満員となった。

お揃いのTシャツを着たメンバー3人に加えて、サポートの長田カーティス（G）、佐藤栄太郎（Dr）、ササミオ（Cho）の計6人がステージに揃うと、REISの『DADARAYです』という挨拶と共に「美しい仕打ち」からライブがスタート。ポップなメロディーと変幻自在のアレンジは、楽曲制作を担当した川谷絵音節を感じさせつつ、大人びたクールさと可愛らしさを併せ持つREISの歌声や、間奏での課長のベースソロがDADARAYらしさを印象付ける。

疾走感のあるサビが特徴の「block off」ではREISがハンドマイクでステージ前方に出て、『シモキター！』とオーディエンスに呼びかけ、「東京Σ」ではプログレッシヴな展開で演奏能力の高さを見せつけた。

MCでは課長が中心となってメンバーを紹介し、REISに『普段はクールなのでなかなかしゃべらないんですけど、今日はライブだからしゃべってよ』と振ると、REISは『みなさんこんばんは、下北沢とっても楽しいです』と笑顔を見せる。

エモーショナルな歌唱とドラマチックなメロディーが耳に残る「誰かがキスをした」、えつことササミオによるスキャットから始まり、フリーキーな演奏に乗せてREISがラップ風のボーカルを披露する「ダダイズム」、オルガンの温かみのある音色と鋭いキメの対比が鮮やかな「9月に落ちるひとしずく」と、まだ結成から日の浅いユニットとは思えない完成度の高さにメンバーの経験値の豊かさが伺える。

ラストはMVが公開されていた「イキツクシ」を演奏し、長田によるアウトロのノイズギターによって本編が締め括られた。アンコールではクラシカルな旋律が美しいバラード「灯火」を披露。ユニット名が意味する「既成の秩序や常識を破壊する光」をステージ上で体現し、今後の活動に期待が募る初ライブとなった。

また、アンコールでは4月5日（水）に発売される1st ミニアルバムのレコ発ツアーを東京と大阪で開催することが発表された。東京は4月12日（水）に新代田FEVER、大阪は4月14日（金）に梅田シャングリラでの開催となる。こちらの先行チケットは2月24日（金）の18:00より販売開始しているので、お見逃しのないように。
