佐野元春、リーディングと音楽を融合した『スポークンワーズ・ライブ』を7年ぶりに開催

佐野元春がリーディング・パフォーマンスと音楽を融合した『スポークンワーズ・ライブ In Motion 2017 「変容」』を4月4日（火）渋谷・TSUTAYA O-EASTにて開催することを発表した。

佐野元春のリーディング・パフォーマンスは「植民地の夜は更けて（2001）」「増幅（2003）」「僕が旅に出る理由（2010）」に続いて7年ぶり、4度目の開催となる。

バンドメンバーは井上鑑（Keyboard）を中心に高水健司（Bass）、山木秀夫（Drums）、金子飛鳥（Violin）というこれまでも佐野を支えてきた4人のミュージシャンがサポート。フォーク、ジャズ、アバンギャルド、ファンクから現代音楽まで、縦横無尽に展開するバンド演奏に、佐野のフリー・フォームの詩がグルーヴするユニークなパフォーマンス。そこで繰り出される自由かつ多面的なイメージは、ラップ・ミュージックの進化形を予感させる。

さらに、今回は初の試みとしてプロジェクターを使った映像演出を導入。佐野の詩を核とした言葉・音楽・映像による、進化したライブアート・パフォーマンスを行なうとのこと。また、続く4月には今回の『スポークンワーズ・ライブ』をベースに、ニューヨークで開催されるアート・フェスティバル『NOT YET FREE』に出演し、世界中のアーティスト達とコラボレーション・パフォーマンスを展開する。

ロックンロールのフォーマットに忠実でありながら、詩的質感を保ち続ける希有な表現者である佐野元春。『スポークンワーズ・ライブ In Motion 2017 –変容』では普段のロッカーの姿とは違った、攻撃性と優雅さを備えた哲学詩人としての佐野元春を感じることができるはずだ。なお公演のチケットは3月19日の一般発売に先駆け、3月10日（金）より先行販売がスタートするので、気になる方は是非チェックしてほしい。
