X JAPAN、YOSHIKIが“生きる目標”と言い切るバンド初の全編アコースティックツアー開幕！

「X JAPAN WORLD TOUR 2017 WE ARE X Acoustic Special Miracle～奇跡の夜～6DAYS」が、7月11日（火）に大阪城ホールでいよいよ初日の幕を開けた。

YOSHIKIにとっては術後初となるパフォーマンス。そして、今回挑むのは“全編アコースティックスタイル”というグループ史上初の試み。手術を終え、厳しいリハビリに耐えながら、“生きる目標”と言い切るほどの強い意志を持って臨んだ公演初日の大阪城ホールは、10,000人の観客で埋め尽くされ、手術を乗り越えて帰ってきたYOSHIKIの姿を一目見ようと全国各地、海外からもファンは押し寄せた。

開場前にはツアーグッズを買い求める長蛇の列ができ、YOSHIKIの帰りを待ちわびたかのように、販売開始後YOSHIKIグッズはすぐさま完売。WEBサイトで開始されていた先行販売でも、受付開始数時間で即ソールドアウトとなったグッズがいくつもあり、ファンの熱気と勢いは会場外でも凄まじい。また、はるばる海外からも取材クルーが来日するなど、術後初となるYOSHIKIのパフォーマンスに世界中から注目が集まっていることが窺えた。

2017年3月に開催された英ウェンブリー・アリーナ公演同様、映画『WE ARE X』特別バージョンの放映が演出として組み込まれた今回のライヴ。映画の余韻に浸りかけた観客の前にX JAPANメンバーが突如現れ、フィルムから繋がるドラマティックなショーの始まりである。

「Forever Love」「Tears」「Without You」「ART OF LIFE」などのX JAPANの代表曲に加え、「ROSE OF PAIN」といった最近のライヴでは耳にすることのできなかった曲も披露。また、「紅」「Silent Jealousy」ほか、美しくアコースティックアレンジされた曲のイントロが流れ出すたびに、会場は割れんばかりの拍手と大歓声に包まれた。

この日、“コンサートができる事に感謝している。みんなの応援が力になって、その温かい愛情でここまで来ることができた”と、自身の復帰を待ちわびてくれていた会場のファンに向けて感謝の思いを語り、残り5日の「奇跡の夜」も全力で駆け抜けるとYOSHIKIは誓った。

ゲストのオペラシンガーやストリングスと共に奏でる、美しくクラシックアレンジされた曲と、ドラムという武器を封印したグループの新たなスタイルは、まさに“今しか観ることのできないX JAPAN”の貴重な姿。“歴史に残るようなステージにする”というYOSHIKIの予告通り、「奇跡の夜」と呼ぶにふさわしいツアー。7月11日（火）、12日（水）の大阪公演を終えたあと、14日（金）から17日（月）のファイナルまで、4日間に及ぶ横浜アリーナ公演に突入する。
