桑田佳祐、『がらくた』特典エッセイで原由子へのリスペクト明かす

桑田佳祐ニューアルバム『がらくた』の初回生産限定盤特典の新情報が解禁！　新たに特製ブックレット「がらくた」が付属することがわかった。

特製ブックレット「がらくた」は初回生産限定盤A、B、Cの三種の限定盤に等しく同梱される書籍で、全120ページにも及ぶ、まさに“特製ブックレット”となっている。歌詞ブックレット、このブックレット内でしか見ることのできない撮り下ろしの写真に加えて、なんと桑田佳祐の書き下ろしによるエッセイ集「がらくたノート」が収録されている。

「がらくたノート」はアルバムに収録される15曲それぞれのタイトルに、1篇ずつ計15篇のエッセイがしたためられている。曲ができる様子など創作にまつわるエピソード、アルバム制作に携わった周囲の人への気持ち、日常の中で感じているさまざまな思い、日記のように綴られた生活の一部等、興味深い、貴重なエッセイ集である。装丁は文庫本のようなな仕上がりで、「波乗文庫」と名付けられた文庫シリーズの1冊、ポケットにしのばせたくなるブックレットに仕上がっている。

また、エッセイ集「がらくたノート」から「百万本の赤い薔薇」と「オアシスと果樹園」の2篇がオフィシャルHPに公開された。「百万本の赤い薔薇」ではミュージシャン原 由子に対するリスペクトの気持ちを、JTBのTVCMソングとなっている「オアシスと果樹園」ではCM撮影の締切が迫ってくる中、焦りと戦いながら曲を作っていく過程を、桑田らしい筆致で表現している。

さらに、桑田のオフィシャルインタビューも同時公開された。このインタビューを読んで、ぜひアルバムの予習もしてほしい。

なお、定額制音楽配信サービスdヒッツでは、「オアシスと果樹園」の先行配信がスタート。その他主要配信サイトでも8月14日からアルバムに先駆けて配信開始となる。そしてiTunesでは、ニューアルバム『がらくた』の予約注文を実施中。『がらくた』を予約すると「オアシスと果樹園」が先行で14日からダウンロードできる。ニューアルバム『がらくた』からの先行配信は「若い広場」に続いて2曲目となる。
