ブレイク必至のCHAI、2018年の快進撃を予見する2つのニュースを発表

“NEOカワイイ！”“コンプレックスはアートなり！”を掲げるガールズバンドCHAIが、毎年恒例となっている新年の抱負会見動画を公開した。

2018年は戌年ということで、前年よりも少しグレードアップした装飾のなか、「CHAIは、全てのことをラブで包み込み、のどごしを感じながら飲み続けることを誓います」「CHAIは、世界最高峰のグラミー賞に一歩近づくための一歩を踏み出すだ、散りも積もればマウンテン」等ユーモアあふれる2018年の快進撃を予見する声明文を読みあげ、最後には二つのニュースを発表した。

一つ目はグラミー賞を見据えたCHAI主催イベント『“ロード・ツー・ダ・GRAMMYs” season5　「春のCHAIまつり」』のゲストに、DJみそしるとMCごはん、東京カランコロンの出演が決定したこと。CHAIが敬愛するミュージシャンをゲストに招く本シリーズ企画であるが、今回は3月25日梅田 Shangri-Laと3月31日東京キネマ倶楽部の東阪2か所にて開催される。 チケットのオフィシャルサイト2次先行は1月6日12時よりスタートとなる。

二つ目は、ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION後藤、ヒャダイン、亀田誠治といった数々の著名アーティストからもSNSでレコメンドされ、大好評の1stフルアルバム『PINK』を12インチアナログレコードでリリースすること。 タイトルにちなんだ“ピンク”色のカラーヴァイナル仕様となっており、1,000枚限定で2月7日にリリースされる。 昨年FLAKE RECORDSよりリリースした800枚限定の7インチ「N.E.O. / sayonara complex」は即座に完売したため、話題の今作もぜひ早めにチェックしよう。
