男性ヴォーカル&ダンスグループADDICTION、9月13日に新宿ReNYで2ndワンマン公演を開催!!!!!

男性ヴォーカル&ダンスグループADDICTIONが誕生したのが、2014年6月30日のこと。新陳代謝目まぐるしいホーイズグループ界隈の中、ADDICTIONもメンバーの卒業など何度も壁を乗り越えながら。一時期は、メンバーが2人という状況にまで追い込まれながらも、けっして休むことなく活動を続けてきた。
何時だってADDICTIONのメンバーを支えてきたのは、彼らが大輪の華を咲かせることを本気で信じ、応援し続けてきたファンたちの想い。メンバーを信じ抜く強い気持ちをいつも目の前で感じ続けてきたからこそ、たとえメンバーが2人になろうと、歩む道へいろんな障壁が現れようとも、ADDICTIONはけっして活動を止めることはなかった。
現在は、K.B/MYUJI/TAKT/ASCHの4人編成にパワーアップ。さらに、9月13日(木)に新宿ReNYで行うワンマン公演「ADDICTION 2nd concert【AWAKENING】」より5人目となる新しいメンバーJOSHUAを加え、新体制となったADDICTIONとしてふたたび大海原へ乗り出すことも決定している。

ADDICTIONは、今年2月20日にも新宿ReNYでワンマン公演を行った。このときに用意した椅子席は完売。SOLD OUTには及ばなかったが、スタンディグ客を含め大勢の人たちが足を運んだ。その日のライブ時に、彼らは次のステップへ進むための発表を行った。それが、「3月から7月までの5ヶ月間の中、4枚発売するＭカードの売上枚数が5000枚に達したら2ndワンマンコンサートを行う」という内容だった。
これまでにADDICTIONは、Mカード第1弾『Catch up』/第2弾『Together-Music Video-』/第3弾『Get up/LOVE SONG』/第4弾『Last Song/Shake it up』と４タイプのMカード作品を発売。第4弾作品のリリースを控えた6月中旬時点で5000枚を突破し、目標としていた2ndワンン公演実現の公約を達成。そこで発表したのが、先にも触れた9月13日(木)に新宿ReNYで行うワンマン公演「ADDICTION 2nd concert【AWAKENING】」だった。
ふたたび新宿ReNYへの挑戦。もちろん、今回はSOLD OUT!!を目指してのチャレンジとなる(すでにS席は完売)。でもそれ以上に、タイトルへ「AWAKENING」(覚醒)と名付けたように、ここから、新制ADDICTIONとしての姿を彼らは示そうとしている。

現在、ADDICTIONは渋谷TAKE OFF7を舞台に毎月定期公演「ADDICTRIP」を1日2公演行っている。直近では、8月26日(日)に行われる。気になった方は、まず、このコンサートに足を運んでみるのも手だろう。新宿ReNYでの2ndコンサートを楽しむための予習に最適な場になるのは間違いない。さらに、9月1日と2日(共に14時より)には、新大久保KPLを舞台に無料コンサートの開催も発表した。
K-POPへ夢中になっている方々、ぜひ、日本にも同じ匂いを抱く連中がいることを知って欲しい。メンズヴォーカルグループへ夢中になっている人たち、早くからその歴史を築いてきたイカした奴らの魅力を知らなきゃ、このシーンについては語れないぞ。何より、ライブハウスシーンに男性ヴォーカル&ダンスグループが数多く存在することを知らない人たち。まずはADDICTIONをきっかけに、このシーンに触れ、そこから一気にのめり込んでいただきたい。そして、気になったのなら、彼らは9月13日の新宿ReNYの舞台であなたを待っているので、その熱気と興奮を直に肌で感じてもらいたい。
