現実逃避したい!!MYUJIの最新シングル「Drive」が、あなたを夏の楽園に誘いだす!!

ダンス&ヴォーカルグループADDICTIONの中心人物であり、ラッパーだったMYUJIが、自分の新しい可能性を広げようと、2021年2月よりソロ・アーティストとして活動をスタートさせた。

3月末日に公開したMV「CHOICE」を目や耳にしたとき、ラテン系のダンスビートに乗せ、毎日無意識に行われているルーティーンに、スポットを当てた歌詞から、強いメッセージを感じ取ることが出来る。

グループ活動時代から、ラップや歌詞制作、並びに、振り付けや楽曲プロデュースにも力を発揮してきたMYUJIならではの視点と、触れた人を誘惑するように妖しくせまるアダルトな姿へ、一瞬で視線が惹きつけられた。


6月に公開したLyric Video「Moonlight」では、甘くメロウな表情を見せながら、親しみやすさも提示。作品を発表するごとに、MYUJIというアーティストの持つ器の深さを覚えずにいれなかった。
そしてこの夏、MYUJIはまた新たな魅力を、夏の季節に似合う音楽の服として届けてきた。


　8月4日、MYUJIは初のデジタルシングルとして「Drive」をユニバーサルミュージックよりリリース。同時に、MV「Drive」をYouTube上にアップした。
夏を舞台に、愛しい人と一緒にひと夏のバケーションを過ごしたくなる、心躍らせる楽曲だ。ただし、灼熱の夏を彩るアッパーな曲調ではなく、心地好い夏の日射しを感じるアーバンでスタイリッシュな、トロピカル系のハウスナンバーに仕上がっているところがポイント。この夏一番の「Chill Song」になる事間違いなし！

爽快な夏の風を肌に感じながら、少しお洒落を気取って聞きたい。まさに、触れた人を大人のバケーションへ連れだしてゆく楽曲だ。
　楽園へ向かってドライブしてゆく映像から始まるMVには、MYUJIが現実を忘れた空間で仲間たちと戯れる様から、青い海と空が広げる夏景色の中にたたずむ姿を満載。
その仲間たちに、同じ事務所で後輩グループのRELのメンバーたちが参加。気心知れた関係は、彼らが無邪気に戯れる姿からも見えてくる。何より、MVを通して、MYUJIと現実を忘れた空間で思いきり"夏"を感じれるのが嬉しい。

　これまで映像でしか触れられなかったMYUJIの音楽だが、「Drive」は初の配信リリース音源ということもあり、MYUJIの音楽を何時でも側に置いておけるのもポイントだ。現在、「Drive」のCMが渋谷愛ビジョン(宮益坂交差点・ビッグカメラビルのビジョン)で1時間に3回(20分・40分・57分)連日流れている。渋谷に足を運んだ方は、ぜひ大型のビジョンで現実を忘れさせる風景に触れてくれ。
