第四回「Starwave総選挙」結果発表！。総合ランキング1位は有栖川塁(未完成アリス)!!

2月19日(火)にHOLIDAY SHINJUKUで行われたStarwave Recordsのレーベル設立9周年を祝うイベント[Starwave Fest Vol.20〜レーベル設立9周年記念イベント〜]。同イベントでは、毎回、来場者たちの投票によりレーベル内での人気や支持をランキングで示す「Starwave総選挙」が行われている。今年はどんな結果が出たのか、それをお伝えしよう。

昨年は、FIXERと、当時まだ動き出して間もないながら未完成アリスの2バンドがほとんどのランキングの上位を占めていた。だが、今年はFIXERが解散したことから大本命を欠いての開催。その結果出たのが、以下のランキングになる。

総合ランキングで1位を獲得したのが、未完成アリスの有栖川塁。彼は第一回「Starwave総選挙」のときに、ミサルカのruiとして1位を獲得した経験があるように、3年ぶりに1位に返り咲いた形になる。有栖川塁は、ヴォーカル部門でも1位を手にしている。
特筆すべきなのが、未完成アリスの晏の躍進ぶり。晏は総合ランキングで2位、ギター部門で1位を獲得。結果、未完成アリスの有栖川塁と晏で、主要部門をつかむ形となった。本命候補の一人だったScarlet ValseのKakeruが、今回は総合チャートで3位。とはいえ、今や未完成アリスとScarlet ValseがStarwave Recordsの二枚看板となっているように、今のレーベル内の支持を思えば1-3位のメンツも納得だ。
今回、ギター部門の2位にラヴェーゼの凪斗-nagito-が。ベース部門にUNDER FALL JUSTICEの杉野暁兎がランクイン。その数字が示すのは、今年はこの2バンドが未完成アリスやScarlet Valseを脅かす存在になること。同時に、このシーンの中でも、より注目を集めだしているとも捉えられようか。ドラム部門で1位を獲得したScarlet ValseのYo-heyは、2年連続で1位を獲得。Starwave Records所属バンドで一番支持の高いドラマーとしての称号は、当分彼のためにある言葉になりそうだ。

所属バンドの人気や支持をあえて個人ランキングの投票制にすることで、所属バンドのメンバーたちはもちろん、ファンたちにも、毎年刺激を与えている「Starwave総選挙」。総合1位を手にした未完成アリスの有栖川塁には、今年いろんな特典が用意されている。それが、どんな形で飛びだすのかも楽しみにていて欲しい。
