愛夢GLTOKYO、10月23日にキングレコードより1stシングルを発売!!

6月15日に新宿HOLIDAYで行ったワンマン公演の場で、「メジャーデビュー」を発表。当時は、「流通だけメジャーのレコード会社を用いたメジャーリリースではなく、レコード会社が制作を行うようにメジャーなレコード会社からCDを発売します」と伝えるに留まっていた。今回、その続きとなる内容を8日に行ったライブの場で発表。それが、「10月23日(水)にキングレコードより1stシングルを発売します」の情報だった。
1stシングルには、全部で3曲収録。収録曲名など具体的な中身は、今月下旬頃の解禁時期に改めてお伝えする形になる。とはいえリーダーのNEOアリカーベルは、現状伝えられる内容として「表題曲は、「誰にもわたしの人生を止めることは出来ないよ」というメッセージを詰め込んだ楽曲」と発言。C/Wには、「メンバーの自己紹介ソングと、愛夢GLTOKYO=ボカロテイストの魅力ということから、ボカロ要素もミックスした早口でまくしたてる歌を入れる」と答えてくれた。
表題曲はMVも制作。その舞台となるのが、NEOアリカーベルが卒業したとある高校。その理由について、彼女はこう述べてくれた。
「自分の卒業した高校でMVを撮影するという、高校時代のわたしの夢が叶います。わたし、高校時代に生徒会長をやっていました。学校の生徒会室には、みんなで使うおっきいテーブルがあって、よくいろんな会議をしていたのを思い出します。わたし、卒業式の日に、このテーブルの裏へ「おっきくなって、またこの高校へ絶対に戻ってきます」と書いたんですね。
今回の撮影で生徒会室は撮影許可が下りなかったので、せめて部屋だけでも見たいし、あのテーブルがまだあるのか確かめたいと思い、お願いをして入れてもらいました。中に入ったら、今でもあのテーブルがあったんですね。しかも裏を覗いたら、わたしの書き込みがしっかり残っていました。もう、その瞬間に涙が止まらなくなって…」
とても素敵なエピソードだ。なぜ、彼女が母校を舞台にMVの制作を決めたのかも、「テーブルの下の書き込みを見たとき、改めて、「何十回挫折しようと夢に向かって必死に頑張り続ければ、夢は絶対に裏切らずに手を差し伸べてくれる」んだなって。「あきらめずに追いかけ続ければ夢は叶う」んだなと実感しました。表題曲には、そんなわたしの気持ちを投影しているからこそ、MVも、夢を誓った始まりの場となった母校を選んだわけなんです」と教えてくれた。MV制作はこれから。どんな内容の映像に仕上がるのかも楽しみだ。

愛夢GLTOKYOの誕生から5年目でつかんだメビャーデビューの切符。現在は第二期編成のように、一時期はユニット崩壊の危機に直面した時期もあった。NEOアリカーベルに関していえば、前ユニットの経験も加えると約10年アイドル活動に命を注いできた。本人も、「10年頑張り続けてやっとメジャーの場に立てるよ。夢を叶えるまで10年かかったよって、あの頃にわたしに言いたい」と語っていたように、今回のチャンスをとても喜んでいる。ただし、「年内。もしくは、来年の春頃までには、わたしは引退します」とも語っているように、以前から表明していたよう現メンバーに夢のたすきを手渡し、NEOアリカーベルは引退する。
リリースに関する内容や、NEOアリカーベルの引退時期など、諸々、細かい情報は逐次発信するので、次なる報告を待っていて欲しい。最後に、NEOアリカーベルの言葉でシメようか。

「愛夢GLTOKYOを結成した当初も、今も、ウィッグをかぶったコスプレ風のアイドルユニットということから、「なに、このグループ」と後ろ指を差され続けています。だけど、他と異なることをやり続けてきたからこそつかんだチャンスであり、他とはかぶらない第一人者としての道も愛夢GLTOKYOは築いてきました。
いろんなことが重なり発表した「アイドル活動を引退します」の発言でしたが、以前は、「辞める」と言いながらも、正直、未練を持っていたからこそ活動を続けてきました。だけど今は、自分の夢を叶えられる充実感。何より、今のメンバーになら安心してわたしの夢を、愛夢GLTOKYOのたすきを手渡せると確信を持てたからこそ、デビューしてそんな遠くない時期に、わたしは卒業します。それくらい、今の愛夢GLTOKYOのメンバーたちは、夢を大きく膨らませていけるわたしの未来なんです。と言いながら、きっと引退後も、わたしの性格上、裏でいろいろ言っちゃうんでしょうけどね(笑)」
