ゆとり、イラストレーターsakiyama氏とコラボした「雨恋」のフルMVをYouTubeにアップ!!

8月に、ゆとりが仕掛けたいくつもの音楽的なアプローチ。その中でとくに熱い視線を集めていたのが、Sou「愚者のパレード」やずっと真夜中でいいのに。「ヒューマノイド」のMVイラストなどを手がけてきたイラストレーターsakiyama氏とタッグを組み作りあげた「雨恋」(あまごい)のMVだった。先に短いティザー映像として公開。そのときから、たった9秒とはいえ、ゆとり(?)を彷彿させる一人の男の表情と、気持ちを高ぶらせる楽曲に嬉しい衝撃を覚える人たちが続出。瞬く間に再生回数を上げていった。(https://twitter.com/the_yutori/status/1159434128942440449?s=12)。
そのフルMV(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQo9OjRFwjM&feature=youtu.be)が公開になった。

改めて、ゆとりのことを紹介しよう。と言っても、彼のtwitter上のプロフィールに記されている「Music,Words,Vocaloid/作詞作曲編曲/ボカロP/歌います/叩きます/描きます/Vtuberミライアカリ楽曲提供(作詞作曲)」が、現状、ゆとりのことを知る手がかりのすべて。Vtuberミライアカリの楽曲のほとんどを手がけているように、それらの曲を聞くだけでも、ゆとりの多彩な音楽センスは伝わってくるはずだ。
本人も、YouTube上へ自身の歌った「goinmyway」(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S_KCES5BBc&feature=youtu.be)を配信すれば、同楽曲を、初音ミクバージョン(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpbDsMsk2N0)としても、先月より配信している。同じ楽曲でも、歌い手が変わると聞こえ方にも変化を覚えるように、その違いも感じていただけたら幸いだ。

ゆとりは、8月末日に「雨恋」のフルMVをYouTube上にアップ。触れた瞬間から気持ちを熱く掻き立てる、疾走するギターロックサウンドが炸裂。楽曲が進むごとにゆとりの歌声にも熱が加わり、感情を大きく揺らしていく。サビに記した「心臓に雨が降り続いて 止まないや」という言葉も、強烈に胸へ突き刺さる。キャッチーでつかみを持った楽曲ながらも、歌詞に綴ったのは「泣き濡れる痛い心模様」。幸せから絶望へと落ちた主人公のどしゃぶりの心に、果たして虹(未来)がかかるのか。そんな感情の変遷を、sakiyamaのゆっくりと風景の変化するイラストが示してゆく。映像に登場する男性の微妙な表情の変化も、ぜひ注目して欲しい。けっして派手な映像ではない。むしろ、ゆっくりと心変わりしてゆく歌詞に綴られた心象風景とシンクロするように、映像も僅かな変化を示しながら進んでゆく。だからこそ、触れた人たちは想像力を掻き立てられる。
「goinmyway」とは異なる表情だ。あえて共通項を上げるなら、ギターサウンドを軸に据えているという点。それが、ゆとりとして求めるスタイルなのか…。

今後もゆとりは、様々なアーティストと楽曲コラボレートを行ないつつ、自身の楽曲を発信し続けてゆく。中でも「雨恋」は、彼自身の本質を提示した歌。楽曲配信もスタート。秋頃には新曲の発表も控えているように、これから徐々に明かされるゆとりという表現者の才能を知るうえでも、ぜひ最初の手がかりとして「雨恋」へ触れていただけたら幸いだ。
