Blue VintageがNEW アルバム 「GOLD」リリース そして「So Old, but Gold」MV解禁

オーガニックで爽やかな海辺を感じさせるサーフミュージックを武器に、時にアダルトで洗練されたアーバンサウンドまで多彩な表現を持つ “Blue Vintage” が、彼らなりの “サーフポップス” をつめ込んだNew アルバム「GOLD」が完成した。

リード曲「So Old, but Gold」は、歩んできたこれまでの人生を振り返りつつ、誰もが持つ普遍的な想いや、忘れられない出来事や大切なものなどを（GOLD）に例え、まさに彼らの “決して変わらない、色褪せない” 音楽を形容する作品となっている。

他にも今回のNew AL「GOLD」には、Blue Vintage自身初となる地上波ドラマ主題歌「SEDAI WARS」や、心地良いラブバラード「All My Life」、ハワイの郵便番号がタイトルになっている彼らの音楽のルーツを感じれる楽曲「96815」、YouTube で先行公開されていた人気曲「アリの歌」などが収録された非常に聴き応えのある1枚となっている。

【Blue Vintage プロフィール】
フィリピンで生まれ、サイパンで育ち、そしてハワイで学生時代を過ごしたことで自然と身に付いた多国籍な感性と日本人離れした 歌唱力が魅力のヴォーカル J.Speaks。

故 ジョー山中さんの生涯を支えたマネージャーを父に持ち、伝説のロックレジェンド達に可愛がられて幼少期を過ごし、時にその若さからは想像も出来ない老獪なプレーでオーディエンスを魅了する生粋のギタリストTajgaというふたつの強烈な個性が交わり、豊潤なサウンドを生み出すBlue Vintage。


2013年に出会い、互いのポテンシャルに共振したふたりはすぐさま意気投合し、バンドとしての活動を開始。
両者の音楽的基盤となるブルース、ヒップホップを軸に、ロックやポップ、サーフミュージックなどあらゆる音楽が融合し、Blue Vintage のフィルターを通し届けられる新たなサーフ・ポップスを開拓。

2018 年、初の EP「IVORY」をリリース。
リード曲「渚のハニー」は、三浦大知「I'm Here」・AI の「ハピネス」など様々なアーティストを手がける UTA がプロデュース。

また、同 EP に収録された「名前を呼んで」は、里親情報サイト 「ペットのおうち」とのコラボ楽曲として話題になり、YouTube 動画再生は 100 万回を記録した。

2019 年には、フル・アルバム「BLUE」をリリース。
収録曲「Loser」は、吉沢悠が主演した映画「ライフ・オン・ザ・ロングボード 2nd Wave」挿入歌として起用された。

同年には、「Snow Light Festivalʼ19」「OCEAN PEOPLES’19」「夏びらき MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019」「The 2019 ISA World Surfing Games Festival」といったサーフカルチャー系の大型フェスを中心に多数のフェスやイベントに出演。

2020年5月、1 年の期間を空けず、新たなフル・アルバム「GOLD」の発売が決定。
最先端ながらどこか懐かしい、海や自然を想起させる... そんな” Blue Vintage” サウンドを贈り続ける。
