ぶいにゃす、一歳の誕生日おめでとう!!

今では、twitterのフォロワー数も9500人を超えるようにヴィジュアル系ファンたちの間では、親しみ覚える愛らしいマスコットキャラクターとして温かい支持を得ている"ぶいにゃす"。直接ライブ会場で見かけた方はご存じかと思うが、愛らしい姿や動きとは裏腹に、意外と高身長なイケにゃんなのも特徴だ。

ぶいにゃすがtwitterやYouTube上に初めて動画を投稿したのが、ちょうど1年前となる2019年5月22日になる。当時は、部屋の中で独り遊びしているぶいにゃすのほのぼのとしたキャラクターに「癒される」という声が上がっていた。
そこから徐々にぶいにゃすは得意の楽器演奏を魅力にいろんなヴィジュアル系バンドたちの名曲をカバー演奏し、twitterやYouTube上に次々とアップ。その卓越したテクニックと選曲のセンスに注目が集まり、ヴィジュアル系ファンたちのみならず、ヴィジュアル系ミュージシャンたちの嗜好も刺激。何時しかぶいにゃすのプレイをリスペクトしてゆく人たちが増えだし、フォロワー数もどんどん増えだした。

ぶいにゃすは、お気に入りのヴィジュアル系バンドのCD盤を「お気に入り1枚」として次々と紹介。さらには、画像編集技術に長けているらしく、みずから、いろんなヴィジュアル系バンドのCDのジャケットの中へ加わり、メンバーの一員として登場する「CDジャケット入ってみた」シリーズまでスタート。

他にも、よくヴィジュアル系専門ショップやライブハウス界隈に出没し、そこで"映える"写真を撮り続けるなど、猫にしては意外にも部屋にとどまることなく行動的なことから、何時しか様々なバンドから「ライブに遊びに来てよ」と声がかかりだし、いろんなバンドのライブに顔を出せば、何時しかゲストとしてステージへ登場するまでに。中でも、ライブ前後にバンドやミュージシャンらと撮影した記念のショットは、バンドマンらが積極的にtwitter上にアップしていたことから、ぶいにゃすの人気と知名度はどんどん拡散されその名を広げてきた。
さらに、今年2月には相棒となる"やみにゃす" も誕生。2匹(?)で親しく戯れている姿も話題になっている。

最近では、ぶいにゃすのオンラインショップが開店。KK BOXというサブスク音楽サービスでは「ヴィジュアル系ナンバー」を選曲するプレイリスターとしても活動を行うなど、今やヴィジュアル系ファンの間では"ヴィジュアル系を世に広める愛らしいキャラクター"としてぶいにゃすは親しまれている。
名前は知ってても、じつはまだツイートや動画を観たことがないという方、まだ存在を知らなかった人たち。ぜひ、ぶいにゃすの一歳の誕生日をお祝いしながら、改めてぶいにゃすの歩みを振り返っていただきたい。
