桑田佳祐が「Act Against AIDS 2014」へオリジナルグッズ制作・販売で、参加することが決まった。

12月1日は世界エイズデー。音楽業界をはじめ、日本のエンターテイメント業界が中心となってスタートしたAct Against AIDS（AAA）の活動。1993年から始まった【AAAコンサート】は22年目を迎え、今年も数多くのアーティストのボランティア参加により12月1日を中心に、東京・日本武道館をはじめ全国各地でコンサートが開催される。

その中でも、毎年様々な趣向を凝らしたステージが話題となる、桑田佳祐によるパシフィコ横浜でのAAAコンサートは、昨年の公演で12回目。昨年は2008年に大好評を博したひとり紅白歌合戦を再び開催し、“第二回ひとり紅白歌合戦"も大成功を収めるとともに、終演直後からパッケージ化希望の声が殺到したため、今年3月にチャリティ作品としてDVD&Blu-ray化も実現している。

今年は、パシフィコ横浜でのAAAコンサートの開催ではなくグッズ制作・販売という形で実施。「"継続は力なり"という言葉を信じ、AIDSを取り巻く環境が少しでも良くなるまで、今後もAAAの活動を続けて行きたい」という本人の想いのもと、桑田のAAA活動では、"日本のAIDSの危機を少しでも早く無くすことが出来るよう、AIDSの正しい知識を伝えるため"、毎年「AIDS啓発パンフレット」を制作し、全国の小学校、中学校、高校、大学、各種専門学校や保健所等へ送り届けられている。今年も新たな啓発パンフレットを制作すべく、桑田本人の強い想いを受け、Tシャツやコンドームケースといった"桑田佳祐×AAA グッズ" を制作・販売することが決定した。

なお、このグッズのTシャツには、近年先進諸国でも唯一増加傾向にあるAIDSを食い止めるべく、袋に入ったコンドームがドットの上にシルクプリントされている現代的かつオリジナリティあふれるデザインとなっており、コンドームの袋には、「Think about HIV, Talk about HIV.」のメッセージが入っている。長年AAA活動に熱心に取り組んできた桑田佳祐の思いが込められたスペシャルＴシャツとなっている。

この「桑田佳祐×AAAグッズ」は、11月30日（日）11時より、アスマートでの通信販売、および全国のAAAコンサート会場にて販売される。なお、この“桑田佳祐×AAAグッズ"から得られた収益は、最新のエイズの基礎知識を収録した啓発パンフレット・ポスターを制作・発送に充て、全国の小学校、中学校、高校、大学、各種専門学校や保健所に配布される。 是非ともチェックしよう。
