つばき、結成15周年を祝うフェスの開催を発表

　本日1月8日に渋谷CLUB QUATTROにてワンマンライヴを行ったつばきが、『つばき15th Anniversary　正夢になったフェス』と題したフェスの開催を発表した。

結成10周年にあたる5年前には、一色（Vo&Gt）に脳の異常による体調不調が報じられ活動休止を余儀なくされた。活動休止中にはバンド仲間達から自発的に“一色不在の間も、つばきの歌を鳴らし続けよう"という声が上がり、つばきの楽曲を演奏するバンド『つばきフレンズ』も結成された。

今回企画しているフェスは、バンド結成15周年を記念して開催される。フェスには『つばきフレンズ』のメンバーを含む、つばきと親交の深い仲間達が集結。徹底的に自分たちのロックを追求しようとする個性的且つ強力なラインナップで、目が離せない一日になりそうだ。さらに、来場者全員につばきの未発表音源が収録されたCDがプレゼントされるという。

今後も出演アーティストは随時追加発表されていくので、続報をお見逃しなく。

今回、つばきバンド結成15周年記念イベントでフェスを開催することになりました。
実はずっと前から、具体的に言うと2006年くらいから、いつか同世代の仲間を中心にフェス的なものをやりたいと思ってました。
これまで、バンドをやってこれたのは、本当に沢山のいい仲間に出会えた事、みんなに出会えた事、それに尽きると思っています。
同世代の仲間には嫉妬や憧れ、尊敬、色んな感情があって、励まされることもあれば、時にはそれに悩まされたり、迷ったり。
でも、だからこそずっと刺激し合えるいい仲間でいられるんだと思います。
この日は、同じ時代に共に音楽を鳴らしてきた仲間だからこそ、見えてくるそれぞれのストーリーがあると思います。
きっと、普段のフェスとは違う、特別なフェスになると思います。
